A hole in the wall Filipino restaurant off Sandy Blvd and 107th Ave. I had the Sisig Canton over noodles with a fried egg on top. My wife had the chicken empanadas. We've not eaten Filipino before but we really liked it. My wife loved hers saying the crust was nice and flaky and the chicken seasoned perfectly. Mine was mildly spicy so I kicked it up a notch with some Sriracha sauce.
Friendly owner, delicious Filipino food. The ube pancake had a nice buttery outside and was light in flavor. It came with ube syrup to make the ube flavor stronger. The tapsilog dish was flavorful; the garlic rice was already good on its own. The sago gulaman is really sweet if you like sweet drinks
The atmosphere was mellow with nice music playing in background, great customer service and food was delicious I tried a few things and was satisfied with all my choices. I'm definitely a new customer and will be going back.
Best halo halo I've had in Portland so far. Perfect summer treat. Turon was amazing too. One deducted star because I think one of the people working was reprimanding a kid who was helping out in front of us.
Having lived in Manila, PH for 3 years, this was very satisfying.
Brought family and we had: Sisig, Tocilog, Sisig Canton, and Chicken Adobo. Each were exceptional. The Sisig Canton and and Sisig with rice were my favorites.
Additionally — lumpia, chicken cracklings, empanada, Halo-halo, and Turon were on par with my experience overseas. Highly recommend.
Family run, family friendly, Faith-based decor, coffee shop included, and merchandise available to purchase. Check it out!
Went for the Adobo, and it was delicious! It comes with rice and veggies (sautéed carrots and cabbage) for 16.00. The service was spectacular and the atmosphere was very tropical. Will be coming back to try other dishes. Really great Filipino food!
The food is good (they are rice plates, not Ala carte). A bit pricy for the portion size is but worth it.
Aim for their soup and veggie based options that seems to be their best dishes.
Talk to the guy that runs the joint and you'll have a great time.
Filipino food is my absolute favorite and for many years it was a real struggle to find a good Filipino restaurant on the east side of Portland. Fork and Spoon is the best! The food is masarap, the service is exceptional, and the atmosphere is homey!
Good food and huge portions - if you want to taste some Filipino food, this would be one of the places to visit. Dining area offers plenty of space and parking is ample on the side street. When you go - try their Halo Halo and Kare Kare.
Loved their take on Lumpia, the Sisig was delicious, and portion sizes hit the spot. A must try for excellent Filipino cuisine.
Logan was very helpful with the menu helped me decide what to try Had bihon pancit with chicken, was very good tasty and big portion, bicol express was delicious next time will try care care and Pikabet, this restaurant is now my go to for Filipino food.
Our first time at Fork and Spoon. No complaints cause everything is sooooo good! I’ll bring my family here next time and try or other dishes in the menu. So glad you are open now!
Their halo-halo speaks for itself, it's so pretty and filled with ube. Huge fan of their garlic rice, there's so much street food to choose from.
It's not always easy to find a local Filipino restaurant that serves awesome pancit bihon or canton, but this particular place has both! The menu can be a little bit limited, but they also have a lot of wonderful Filipino treats and dishes to offer. I was especially happy with their halo-halo, generous serving with wonderful pieces of leche flan inside.
The staff in this place is nice. The food is very good and it definitely has that "made with love" feel that you get from Filipino food. The staff when we were there were so friendly and accommodating, and made sure we got what we want. As a bonus, they also have "patis" and banana ketchup. Definitely a good place to go if you are craving some Filipino food or if you wanted to try some.
Good Filipino food and great people! Erwina, the owner is really nice. Come check them out!
Food was amazing. This is what I call home food, and on a rainy day ask for sinigang soup. Trust me.
Best in town, my husband and I been trying Filipino restaurants and so far this restaurant is the best. The food is really good 👍🏽
