Crispy pepperoni and bacon is excellent! I'm sure I'll be back!
Updated Review:
Compounding on what other's have mentioned before, the lack of a salad bar and the boarded up game room give this location a bit of a dreary, wasteland vibe. Even so, it hasn't affected the quality of the pizza here, nor the friendliness and competence of the employees here.
As my son is named after a knight of the Round Table, holding his 1st birthday party here (well, one of them, anyway) last night was a foregone conclusion. Unfortunately, the combination of him going through his teething phase, and not having a nap that day, made him a bit cranky and cantankerous for most of it. Our other kids and their friends were also being obnoxiously loud and rowdy. Thankfully, there was basically no one else in the restaurant other than our party, and the employees were so friendly and gracious, taking everything in stride, and even giving our little birthday boy a stuffed plushy as a present.
Additionally, two adult members of our party had never eaten at a Round Table before, and after sampling slices of the King Arthur's Supreme and the Maui Zaui, one of them ordered the latter to take home with her, and the other vowed to come back again in the future, so I think the Round Table may have added a couple new knights to their roster!
Original Review:
Call me what you will: plebian, Philistine...what have you. But. I. Love. Round. Table. Pizza. Always have, always will. I'm not sure exactly what it is that does it for me. I think it's the combination of crust (that isn't too overbearing), sauce (that isn't too overpowering), and solid ingredients. They're not the cheapest around, and being a chain, they're not the freshest or highest quality.
I could not care less.
In my childhood, I used to draw pictures of knights in armor wielding pizza cutters, and ended up giving them to the various Round Tables that I frequented with my parents. They were often displayed with honor and pride by the management. To this day, they are still my favorite pizza joint, and whenever I feel like treating myself, I order a pepperoni and jalapeno, extra sauce.
I rarely dine in at any location, so I can't say much for the cleanliness or efficiency of this local establishment. But they do make a damn fine pizza, and that's all you can really ask for.
Staff was wonderful and went above and beyond to serve all the customers with kindness and respect, very refreshing. The pizza was on point and the Special "Double Play" is $22.99 for a Large and such a great deal, and this specific location is willing to mix and match the toppings. Highly Recommend, and recommend calling ahead.
Update 7/27/21 - The actual manager reached out to me to apologize and rectify the issue. She replaced the pizza and the pizza that I received is exactly what I usually get and expect from Round table. A delicious pizza with toppings to the edges. Thank you so much. I've included a picture of the pizza you sent me as well as the one that received the complaint. You be the judge.
update: I order a pizza from this establishment at least once a week. It is always the same pizza, Extra large italian garlic supreme with extra cheese. I received pizza this evening that was made poorly. I call the store and asked for a manager. I did not get a name, but the "manager" go on the phone and the first thing he said was, "OK, first of all, I'm not going to believe you because I made that pizza myself." Again, I order a pizza from here at least once a week, sometimes more. This pizza, as you will see in the pictures, is NOT what I usually receive. Apparently the Monday night manager's ego is too big to admit a poorly made pizza. He continued to argue that I couldn't possibly be right at which point I said, "Bro, I order a f**king pizza from this location at least once a week, this is not what I usually get". At this point he told me not to call this location anymore.
This "Manager" is not doing you any favors for customer service, quality of service, nor the quality of the pizza "personally being made by him". I will discontinue service here until this order is rectified. Order receipt and picture of pizza are attached.
I've been to a few different Round Table Pizza's and this one is lagging behind the others after my first time at this one. I ordered a King Arthur Supreme and it took 51 minutes from me ordering to get my pizza. There were 5 other people that ordered the buffet after I ordered and they were finished eating before I even got my pizza! When I finally got my pizza it was good.
We arrived at 8pm on Sunday (New years day). We pull into the south side of parking lot, it's dark, not a single vehicle in sight, no one inside & the entry door was (poorly) boarded up with plywood. Lights were on though.
So we pull around to other side and see a single car, so we go inside and see 2 younger guys (late teens/ early 20s) working in the back.
They were both attentive, very professional and made the quality RT pizza (XL King Aurther) we were expecting. We dined in and were the only customers in the dining room the entire time.
Everything from the pizza pick up area, to the abandoned salad bar as a centerpiece in the aged dining area, to the parking lot & restrooms. It all looks, marginal. That is the best way I can describe it.
It seems with all that space they could team up with some other restaurant and get customers and life back in there.
Being from Texas, I wanted to try something different. Dined in , salad bar was awesome. Pizza was yummy. Good dinner, I really enjoyed it. Thumbs up. 👍🏼
I got this flyer in the mail today and decided that I would order my very favorite pizza, Round Table Pizza. So glad they deliver to my house.
When I called, the people answering the phone were extremely courteous I had 1 million questions, changed my order to make it a special order and had to think a few times.I knew They were busy but they were still very patient and help me as best they could I was confused with the special on the flyer and so they honored my request just exceptional customer service thank you round table!!!
Had my nieces 3rd birthday party can't complain
They made my childhood favorite pizza perfectly!
This location is always great! I order pizzas for work. Usually 6 - 7 extra large. They always accommodate special requests. My work has a vegan and some allergy risks.I will continue going back!
These guys were amazingly accommodating! The pizza was delicious and the service was incredible 😋
Love this place ❤️
Chicken and Garlic Gourmet aways great delicious Pizza. The order was perfect. Just the way I wanted it cooked
This place has great pizza but no longer offers the salad bar. We would go here twice as often if they would bring it back. Despite them being busy and short staffed we didn't wait long for our order.
Huge huge place, but almost empty. Service was okay and pizza was - well, just normal pizza.
