I’ve been coming to Second Profession Brewing since it’s opening and the progression has been a very fun thing to watch!
The menu started off with just a handful of food items or beer options - what you would expect from a new and upcoming brewery. Being a beer lover from Portland, what surprised me the most was that you could stack up any of the brews to the best in the NW. Today the food menu is expansive and there are options for anyone’s liking!
I would recommend checking this place out. The environment is great and if you go on Wednesday’s there is trivia.
This place was great. Had never been here, came for bingo Sundays. Had a good size group of us. Food and drinks are so good. That fondue and dirty fries yummy yummy.
Enjoyed the guava beer, mac and cheese, incredible service, friendly crowd AND played BINGO ! Excellent time and will come next time I am in Portland.
Hey the beers are fantastic !! All of the styles are spot on. Can't wait for the upcoming Porter. Great food too. It is easy to park around the area or in the back lot.

Its a bar! Good craft beer and bar food. Serve can sometimes be a little slow if it is really crowed. Go, take your time and enjoy.
LOVE LOVE LOVE the Rye IPA and the Farmhouse! Thanks for creating an awesome space in East Portland! HIGHLY RECOMMEND IT!
The staff is super courteous and the environment is beautiful and quaint. The beer is really delicious and unique. Didn’t plan on stopping in but there is a really good Hawaiian place we wanted to try. Two restaurants and this bar are all connected and I love it!
Waw what a space! Kuddos to the designer! Good chill out music! And happy I could get wine, rose, there! Nice temperature, tiny bit of breeze but not too cold, to hide from heat wave outside!
Great brewery. Nicely decorated. Fast and friendly service. Flights available with 4 beers. They also have cocktails, wine, ciders and seltzers. Very clean.

I stopped here on the last leg of a cross country road trip in the early afternoon. The beer is fantastic, the food from Tomale Boy amazing, and the service top notch. Had a nice conversation with the bar tender and enjoyed the casual relaxed atmosphere without pretense.
Sweet spot to grab a solid beer. The space is decked out with some natural decor, creating a quality environment for hanging. Not to mention you can order food from tamale boy next door and enjoy those chips and guac with a cold beer.
Hip little spot on the corner serving up 7-10 beers and German style bar food. Had the Zest Friends Forever (Grapefruit IPA) and it was alright. Also had the lager and mocha porter and they were both pretty good, nothing to write home about, but enjoyable to say the least. We ordered the pretzel with cheese and mustard, damned delicious! Then proceeded to order the Mac n Cheese, somewhat of a standard mac, yet with tasty breadcrumbs and green onions. It was really good, especially after a few beers!
The service was excellent! Both gentlemen working today around 3pm were great employees and made the visit all the more fun! Thanks!

Excellent! Nice selection and variation of beer. Gose, pale ale and Japanese lager. Plus more! Had their hoppy pale and it’s perfect and refreshing on a warm sunny day! Got the beer pretzel accompanied with the beer cheese! Amazing and the mustard is excellent too! They have a nice selection of patio seating and it’s off a side street from sandy so it’s not loud or too windy. Large space inside that’s bright and welcoming as well but if it’s sunny in Portland... go outside!! Also service is muy buenooo! Cheers!
Beer doesn't taste like it's from a second profession. What a vibe.
Good beer and cocktails. Just not a big fan of drinking margaritas out of a Mason jar.
Great experience. Bartender was killing it with a large group to manage. Good beers. Tamales next door. There's nothing to dislike here.
