Love the restaurant vibes, food and service. We got a lobster roll and one of their burgers with fries- both items were DELICIOUS. The lobster roll was cooked perfectly and meshed well with the bread, 10/10. The burger was also cooked well and tasted great. They also allowed a lot of customization on menu items and had a variety of sauces (another pro) I would give it a 4.7 if I were able to- overall GREAT experience and also great food! My only con is that a lobster roll was close to $40, which is quite pricey in my opinion. The food is worth it, more so if it's your first time trying a lobster roll!

Solid place to go when in Portland, Maine. There’s plenty of seating both in and outside with hardly any wait time. The style of the menu is straightforward so you know what you’re ordering, with pictures accompanying the mobile menu ordering site. The two ways of ordering makes for a fairly efficient system (either order and pay through phone or traditional order). The food comes out at a reasonable time and was hot (what’s more to love?). Service is great just keep in mind that it isn’t your typical sit and dine restaurant with an assigned waiter. I had no complaints and will be thinking about their lobby pop until I return.

If you are downtown and want an excellent little spot I would highly recommend the Highroller. I won't pretend to be a lobster roll expert but I absolutely loved their rolls. They have multiple sauce options which really added to the flavor. Ask for a couple on the side to find which one you like best. You won't be disappointed. They also have a large outdoor area which is well shaded and good for enjoying the fresh coastal air.

We made it just in time for happy hour. (4pm-6pm). Took advantage of the $2 oysters and the house margaritas. Also threw in some jello shots. Very tasty! The surf and turf high roller burger was beyond amazing. Definitely get the 8oz patty as it will balance out the amount of lobster it's topped with. I got lemon mayo, garlic mayo and lobster ghee. Definitely will hit this spot if I'm ever in Maine again.

If you’re looking for delicious lobster, this is it. Our first time in Maine and trying various rolls and lobster in itself, this was definitely a top choice. The meat was fresh and the sauces were great, especially the one with a hint of pineapple. In comparison to other places, the roll was my favorite. There is an option to order two different sizes. The lobster lobbypop is a light snack as it is a small amount of lobster meat for about $20. The prices aren’t definite as it’s sold for market value. The prices of crab meat may vary, depending on the market value. The vibe was good, and the food was great. The data made it harder out there to order via phone in the restaurant but it was a quick fix by going over to bar and ordering. Also, be ready to wait a bit before entering the restaurant as they take your number and text you when a seat is available. Will definitely be returning to this establishment when we visit again for their delicious lobster rolls and sauces!

Got here right at 11 when they opened because we had a 1pm flight. We were in and out in 30 minutes. Easy ordering and paying right on your phone. I ordered the lobster roll and it was delicious. Not as amazing as the one I had at Red's Eats with all that lobster meat years ago but extremely satisfying. Fries were excellent and the jalapeño mayo was fabulous. Super happy with my last meal in the area and I like the low key casual vibe. Highly recommend!

We went there relying on the popular comments on this place, and was totally the right decision! The restaurant has a chain-like atmosphere but it is very well designed and has a cool vibe. We weren’t starving so shared the whole lobster roll for two. Both the lobsterroll and the fries were so good. Everybody should eat here when visiting Portland. And they should open a place in Boston, please!!!!

Heard some great things about Highrollers, so we traveled out of our way to give it a try. To say our expectations were met is the understatement of the year, and this was close to New Year's Eve 2021. The food was fantastic, and the staff were especially kind and super helpful. Sure, expect to pay a bit more than your typical night out at Taco Bell, but it is so worth it. The lobster rolls were filled with meaty lobster deliciousness. I highly recommend going for the simple lobster ghee or drawn butter for the sauce. You can even try it without the sauce (have it on the side) and it is still amazing. The fries were perfectly crisp and tasty, and the Cesar salad did not disappoint at all. We also had the Christmas bomb, which was served in a porron. I have to say, the Christmas bomb was nothing I've ever had before, kinda tasted like a cross between a really rich ice coffee and pumpkin pie in liquid form, it was amazing and paired well with our meal. Parking was on the street, but being after 6pm we didn't have to pay. For sure a definite winner in my book, if we are in Portland again we're definitely stopping by to hang out and chow.
