I love tea, loose-leaf tea from far-away lands. Ever since I moved here I was looking for a replacement for my home town tea room. One of my absolute favorites is Makaibari Green which is grown exclusively on the Makaibari Farm in India, it's organic and biodynamic. Unfortunately it isn't available in most shops, darn exclusivity. When I first came to this place I immediately loved the vibe. It is cozy and warm thus enhancing the overall tea experience. The staff is very friendly and most importantly, well versed in tea. All teas have their own personality and way they should be prepared, guidance is imperative. I left with a bag of Tulsi and come back often for client meetings.

Beautiful little place, warm atmosphere and cozy. I was there to watch/listen to a friend play his acoustic guitar. I got the chai tea but since there are SO many options, I let the employee pick for me and she was super nice. Great relaxing place!

Best tea house! Great, young, super energized Devo-teas serving up the most creative honoring ways of serving delicious tea of all incarnations from around the world. This place really knows tea. The ambience is fabulous whether it's at a table, in the back or in what feels like I'm in a Moroccan outdoor house. Great vibes!

Dobra is my favorite tea shop in the old port! The atmosphere is relaxing and quiet. The staff is fantastic, informative, and pleasant. The tea and food is authentic and exactly what their menu describes. It's honestly my first stop every time I have a friend come to visit from out of the area. I cannot express how much I love Dobra. :)

I went here in August and it was excellent. They have an extensive menu that doesn't just tell you what tea they have, it also describes its flavors and history. They serve the tea in the dishes it was mean to be served in. I would definitely stop in again.

Super cute place!!! Worth visiting if you happend to be in portland or close by to it. They have so many options for teas. Once you enter is self-seating. A staff member will bring you, the "menu", in the style of a book. In it will explain, their history, their story, how it all started. Super helpful menu, has a description of contents, for every tea they offer. It can get overwheleming, so many options!! Once your ready to order, you have a bell on hand, which they provide with the menu. Ring the bell, staff member shows up, and you place your order. The staff were so friendly, very helpful. The environment alone is so soothing, very relaxing. I love that they have different options for seating, from regular wood chairs and round tables, to sofas and pillows to sit on carpet. (Need to remove shoes). Theres a lot of room for quite, more towards the back end of the store. I personally ordered the masala. Came with honey and whole milk. Very presentable! I will return during the summer time to try their iced teas and seasonal drinks. They have wifi and a public bathroom. There's 2 hour street parking available. You Can download the parking app, use cash or credit.

This tea house was a wonderful surprise to walk upon when I was in the Portland area!! The atmosphere is warm and inviting. Their tea selection is amazing!! They offer a decent-size book with tea options with descriptions where they came from and also frozen in ice drinks in the back. They are super friendly and helpful and let you know when a cup of tea is actually a few that you can reuse the loose leaf tea!! If you're looking for a quiet spot to just sit relax, have a cup of tea and watch the world go around then this spot is for you! I can't wait to go again!! And they also have a t log file in the back for those patrons that visit often and want to take notes on the teas that they have tried and liked!!

Comfortable, cozy, tranquil spot. Took our time tasting some delicious teas and treats and playing cards. Great place to meet up and hang out, especially on a rainy day.
