Stopped in for an early lunch after waiting in a cold, rainy line at Bissell Brothers. I've never been here before, and I'm already excited to make the 2 hour drive from Massachusetts to come here again. Outstanding service and even better food!

Truly great food, great beer and best of all Tomaso's is welcoming and fun. From the amazing staff to beautifully renovated space they've created one of the best spots to hang out and have good food and good conversation in the Old Port!!!!

Tomaso’s is awesome! This is a great spot for anyone visiting the Portland area that wants a local vibe with fairly priced cocktails, draft, cans, and grub! The Happy Hour specials served Daily 3-6pm are a major bargain. See my pics! The Sat/Sun brunch from 11-3pm also has some great offerings. The dump truck fries were excellent. Who knew brussel sprouts would be so good with fries! The mozzarella sticks were a nice childhood throwback for me. I admit it’s been a while. The wings with Thai chili sauce were the best part. And during happy hour, they’re $2 off. The staff seated us quickly and moved expeditiously to serve everyone with a smile. Many thanks! I’ll be back! Enjoy everyone!

If you enjoy the dive bar vibe this is your place. Great drinks, delicious eats, and top notch service. Seriously, stop in and give them a try on your next visit to Portland. The fries slap and the "dirt" wings are some of the best you'll have. Did I mention the prices are great as well. 👏 👏 👏

Everything a dive bar should be. Beer plus shot special. Beer is ice cold. Had the steak bomb and wow. Blazing hot but so delish. Full of meat and cheese. The fries were awesome as well and hot. Can tell it didn’t sit in the window and thank you for that. Nothing worse then cold fries. Server was friendly and so was the bartender. Place had a great vibe we will be back

Really nice bartenders and servers. Absolutely freezing day getting dragged out to *antique shop*, thank goodness for this hidden gem of warmth and hospitality. Their strong drinks and friendly faces were much appreciated!!!!

Great AlCOHOL selection, but that's about all they serve for drinks. Wouldn't recommend for the kiddos. The food has always been great and I love that they're open pretty late night. The location is right around the corner from everything (Congress St and downtown). The staff is always nice. I'm not sure if it's unavailable due to the weather, but when they had it available, the outdoor seating was always nice simply because indoor seating is so limited. Luckily the last time I visited (Early April) I was alone so I could afford to sit near the end of the bar to pickup my order and leave. Not everyone travels alone though. One of my favorites, I go visit everytime I'm in town.

What a lovely place for brunch. I'd recommend the Tom's Griddle (sp?). Also the dumptruck fries are divine.

Cara Tomaso, Thank you for making the wait for Eventide so painless. It was so refreshing to see a Tom Collins on the menu and not have to have the "have you ever heard of" conversation. Just a lovely character bar with fabulous drinks. Didn't try the food but wish I could have.
