Whole Foods has a lot to offer, and I shop there regularly. The people are really nice and always helpful. The store is clean and attractive. Their produce department is one of the best I’ve ever seen. Since they were purchased by Amazon, their breadth of selection has been diminished, and there are many fewer unprocessed and whole-grain options than there used to be, and fewer local and lesser known products. (For instance, they now only carry pearled barley; they discontinued hulled barley, which is less processed.) This has led me to shop more often at smaller, local markets, which is probably a good thing. But I still shop at Whole Foods regularly, and it is still a really good store.
Last Tuesday we went from MA to Portland ME and at the end of the day we visited this Whole Foods Market. I went to the restroom while my daughter shopped for some groceries for my grandkids. The manager and workers from this market gave us excellent attention and customer service. When we arrived back to MA that evening, I realized that I left my purse in the store restrooms. My son in law called the store and to my surprise, an employee had found my purse. They coordinated and my son in law drove back that same night and arrived right as the store was closing. The employees/manager kept my purse with all my belongings SAFE. I am more than thankful for their attention and for their patience/tolerance since they waited for my husband and son in law a little after closing time. I will forever remain a Whole Foods Client. Thank you for your excellent customer service!!
They are always so accommodating with my food allergies everytime. I was so blessed that they let me try a new dessert on us. Thank you so much. It cost so much for speciality goods that I'm also hesitant to buy and if I don't like it then I feel like that's too much to spend....but Whole Foods let's me try it on them. Thank you this really means a lot to me and I will always shop there for my specialty items that I need.
Great variety of foods. I've known about Whole foods for years but never had the opportunity to shop here until now. Experience that was well worth the wait.
Better layout than the Austin, TX flagship store in my opinion. The only thing it’s lacking is an Asian soup deli (soba noodle dishes and sushi stand) but otherwise a gem and easy to get to off of the 295 highway.
