Really enjoyed eating at this vegan food truck. We ordered:
-Godfather pita pocket
-Mafia bowl
-Shawarma fries
All were very good, and I would recommend stopping here for food if you’re in the mood for falafel.
We ate at the food truck at the Eastern Promenade. Shwarma fries were good and portion was gigantic. The pita and bowls were absolutely delicious.
Amazing! We were meeting our friends to head to the airport so this was our last meal in Portland. Maybe the best. Super fresh, lots of flavor and great guys running the truck. I wish I could have taken one on the plane!
Freakingggggg delicious. Can not recommend this place highly enough. Loved the falafel and pita and Israeli salad and everything else. Well priced and the wait is worth it even on busy nights.
One word sums up my first experience with their food truck. Wow. I had the "god father" and it was so good I had to order a second. Haha.
I've been to other restaurants where they just layer each ingredient in a way that you only taste one at a time. FM layered it perfectly. Full flavor and texture in every bite. I'll be going back for sure!
I am not usually a daring eater. I skip the funky stuff. However, my daughter (who also skips the funky stuff) couldn’t stop talking about the pita lunch she had at this gem of a food truck on the Eastern Prom. At the Jason Mraz concert, I decided to give it a go. Holy smokes! The pita alone was incredibly warm, slightly salty, and doughy. Inside were these delicious fried balls of what I guess was falafel which was to die for! All around them was crunchy flavorful goodness with creamy sauce. It all came together into an experience I’d never tasted before. They crafted the pita so the falafel was evenly spaced throughout. I had a bite of the good stuff until the very last bit. You don’t need a side with this bad boy. Grab your favorite bevie and enjoy. The pickiest of eaters will be happy. Trust me.
Falafel Mafia is one of my personal favorites. Not only do they have an excellent food truck experience but also do a great job catering for events. We had them cater our wedding back in October and it was amazing.
They offer way more diverse options compared to your traditional wedding food. Well thought out middle eastern appetizers, entrees and dessert. Many of our guests commented that it was the best wedding food they ever had!
They were very flexible on what we wanted for a menu and knowledgeable on their product concerning with allergens. I would highly recommend them if you want the most incredible middle eastern style food for your wedding or event.
Found this truck after hearing about it from a friend and had the best Falafel of my life, by far the best in Portland. Amazing bread, pickles and of course the Falafel, fried to order as your sandwich is prepared. The service was great as well, run by two brothers that have been in the business for years.
