Perfect spot for a wonderful lunch . Best seating in Portsmouth. We had delicious lobster rolls and refreshing drinks served by attentive and very pleasant server. Yes, it was a pricey lobster roll. But, the experience is worth far more than the extra $10. It's a must if you are in Portsmouth which is a town of a lot of great spots .
I have been stopping at the Wharf for years. Amazing views, love the outdoor fire pits, great food and drinks, servers are always fantastic and accommodating. Great place to enjoy a cocktail or beer by the water. Music on the deck just makes it perfect. Love the Wharf!
Good food but poor service. It was awkward having to pick up your food and drinks from another table and we had to wait 10 min after getting our food to get our silverware to finally eat. It was like the servers were dodging people even though we tried waving them down. I was about to go to the server station when a manager finally noticed and I told her what we needed. She went and got them and brought them to our table. Forget about drink refills. The food was delicious but like I said poor service. Beautiful view of the harbor.
This restaurant is wonderful! The food was so enticing I forgot to take a picture. I got the shrimp po boy sandwich and my husband got the ahi tuna burger with truffle fries. So good! My sandwich was huge, I expected it to be on a hot dog roll but it was not. The seasonings were excellant. My husband devoured the tuna and fries. We had a great little table in the corner that was quiet and had a great view of the water. I love it every time I go here.
We had a party of six. They sat us near a window which had a beautiful view. Our server explained how our drinks and food was going to be served. We has a safe and a delicious meal. Going back.
Had my wedding dinner there and it was fabulous! The food was excellent and the service (thank you Chris), was marvelous! I could not ask for anything better! Jennifer was a pleasure to work with and plan everything down to a T. The view was perfect!
We had a wonderful evening out at this harborside restaurant. Fantastic location right on the water, delicious food and excellent service. The restaurant also has best in class safety protocols with food/drink delivered to a serving table next to your dining table. Thoughtful and caring. 5 stars on every dimension!!!
Chosen as a halfway meeting point between Boston & Portland, we enjoyed a delightful mid-afternoon lunch with our son & girlfriend at Martingale Wharf. Due to COVID-19 concerns we requested outside seating on the deck overlooking the harbor. Although the day was damp and overcast we came prepared for the weather. Our server was most accommodating and seated us under an awning to keep us out of the drizzle. In addition to masks being required they have a COVID protocol in place of serving beverages and food to a table adjacent to that at which you are seated and you serve yourself from there. We were impressed with this level of caution. We ordered Seafood Scampi, scallops served over rice with asparagus, chicken club with truffle fries and salmon club sandwich. Our food was fabulous all around! Also fabulous were the warm drinks we ordered on our servers suggestion; apple pie toddy, apple cider with spiced rum and a traditional hot toddy. All around a great dining experience!
