Steamed lobsters galore! If you want them to cook your lobsters for you, there is an added charge, and they usually stop cooking about an hour before closing. We were luckily able to get an order in before they closed the steamer/kitchen. Brought the lobsters and clams home, and they were all delicious! Soft shell lobsters were super sweet and tender, love this straightforward process and they also have benches outside for you to eat if you wanted to.
It doesn’t have to be summer to enjoy lobsters from Sander’s Lobster Pound. A lobster dinner for six in November couldn’t have been better having it cooked and ready for take out from this amazing seafood establishment!!

Big selection of sizes as well.
They had local corn for sale there and we got a few ears and it was sweet and delicious on the grill.
We eat a lot of lobster - at least twice a month - and I always have my eye peeled for the best price, quality and selection. Pricing the day I was there is acceptable but not anything special. The selection is terrific - at least 4 tanks the size of an SUV footprint gushing with sparkling clean water. Quality was the standout. You can tell these are fresh without even seeing them - the transport boxes they pull from are marked with tags from the lobsterman. Super feisty and strong and after 11 minutes in salted boiling water they were sublime. We'll be back. Highly recommended.
Reasonable prices on freshly boiled lobster. Prompt, friendly assistance from staff. 3 picnic tables on floating deck down by the water - nice place to eat said lobsters. Bring accompaniments, friends, and napkins to enjoy a fulfilling lunch as seagulls stare you down.

Awesome place. A must visit if you're looking for live lobster or fresh lobster meat. It's an awesome experience to see all the big tanks full of different sized live lobsters. Fun fun fun....
