I love the staff, the food, the ambience. It's cheap, it's tasty, and they project a great local image. I've been eating here for what seems like the better part of 20 years. During that time I've experienced consistency in service and quality. It's always a decent meal, and the staff, who obviously go through some turnover in two decades, continue to be intelligent, hard working folks, who show a considerable amount of work ethic. The walls are home to local artists, both visual media and performing/ musicians. It is a place that is easy to feel comfortable in, and if you have difficulty sitting still, there are more trivial pursuit cards in each location than you're likely to be able to memorize in a lifetime. I believe they've actually been credited with curing some lesser cases of dementia.

The food at Dos Amigos in in a sweet spot between fresh, affordable and tasty. I have never been disappointed with my meal there, and by the way, whatever drugs they're giving to the staff to make them all so happy and friendly, I want some!

90% of the time it's amazingly and delicious. Unfortunately we got take out last night and it was not that great... The chips and cheese were burnt and the burritos weren't that good either. I'm very disappointed in the outcome of the food.. You guys are the only burritos I will eat.. My boyfriend and I were definitely not impressed with the food.
I love it! Kids burrito is a little big for my two-year-old , even though she eats like a freaking horse! So I asked them to make it with only half the beans and half the rice, and they basically made almost like a taco sized Barito for her!! It was perfect and she didn't waste any!!! They have such friendly staff, they also always have a smile on their face and always accommodate! Now me and my boyfriend make it a weekly thing!
Discovered this place last week while on vacation. We always frequent the area but usually eat all the seafood we can. This summer however I was craving Mexican and we figured we would give it a try. Fresh and affordable. I liked the Burrito in a bowl instead of the wrap. Hot sauce could have been hotter but I really loved this place and we came back a second time too. We will visit again when in the area. YAY
Stopped in while we were at Children's Day. Loved the rice art and books!!! We loved the food even more. They were very busy and were getting orders out like you would not believe. We ordered tacos, and they were out of this world. Fresh and delicious! We can't wait to go back!!

Dos Amigos Concord is the best, great service, great food, always clean tables. Im addicted to the chili..my favorite place to go when im in Concord. A++++++++
We've been several times to the Portsmouth location.Very good food and friendly staff. I also love that there is a kids' menu that has a few options other than mac 'n cheese!

User reviews. Very unassuming place but very popular for lunch. cheap eats with excellent taste. Tried the Carnita burrito with cilantro - very nice. If i am in the neighbhorhood again will definitely go there again.

THE BEST FISH TACOS!!. Was hesitant to try the fish tacos....thx to Limelight coupon I did try them....have had fish tacos in Ca and Fl these really were awesome.I wish they were bigger because 1 is not enough!...the spicy sauce just perfect...have been back 2-3 times but unable to try anything but these tacos!!!! very reasonable prices
Anytime we come To Portsmouth we always come here. I grew up eating great Mexican food and recommend this place!
Yummy burritos, chips, and salsa. Less than $20 for two with drinks and app.
The food was 3 stars but the service was 5 stars.
The Good: really friendly and attentive staff. When we arrived to pick up our order, the food had been kept warm. Prices were reasonable.
The Bad: the big sin for me was that they put the guacamole UNDER the cheese and then heated up the nachos. Hot guacamole just isn't really my thing.
I'll probably just ask for the guacamole on the side next time.
Their burrito deal on Mondays is still the best food deal in town. Since they moved to their new space, the food is better than ever! Don’t sleep on the taco specials, made on Vida Tortillas.
My partner and I were staying in a hotel nearby and decided to check out this restaurant. We ordered online and the food was ready quickly. The employees appeared to be observing all safety protocols.
I got the beef burrito and I have to be honest, having the slaw in it was weird as hell. My partner got the mushroom chorizo quesadilla and added spinach which was excellent.
Overall decent place but I will skip the slaw next time!
Absolutely delicious! Fresh & healthy food at at a great value. I am unable to eat gluten & dairy and I find it hard to find a place to accommodate that. I was able to order a chicken salad bowl with guacamole that had so much flavor. The place is clean and staff is very friendly. There isn't much seating as it's a smaller place. Will come back again.
My wife and I visited the restaurant for the first time and were very glad we did. We are plant based and enjoyed very much their food. I had a mushroom based burrito and my wife had the sweet potato burrito. Both were excellent and filling. I would definitely be this place to anyone especially if you follow a plant based diet.
