Arrived without a reservation after trying to secure one online. I told the host about trying online. Rather than tell me tough-luck-Charlie, the host found our party of three. We hit it right before the rush, thankfully. Once seated, we were well taken care of by the waitstaff. It was a busy night, but we still got our food quickly and it was very tasty. The pizza crust is excellent, thin, but still with a little chew.
Definitely a family vibe to the place.
To start off the food here was absolutely amazing. One of the best Italian restaurants I’ve ever been to. All the food was very big portions so if the price scares you just know you’ll get your moneys worth. Everything me and my bf had was 5 star worthy. All the food came out very quickly and was super hot. The staff was all super nice and the atmosphere was nice and cozy. We had Angela as our waitress and she was amazing, super nice and friendly and helpful by recommending stuff for us to try since it was our first time. If you go there I’d recommend asking for her. She also packed our leftovers Togo and even bagged them for us, not sure if this is the norm here since we’re from Orlando fl but definitely something I’ve never experienced at a restaurant!
Of the countless Italian eateries I've had the pleasure of dining at across North America, this one undoubtedly stands out as one of the most delightful. We wanted to try out this restaurant so we went there for dinner. We ordered mozzarella sticks, minestrone soup, grilled salmon, and lasagna. The sticks were good, but other items were okay. The service was good. Overall, do check out the restaurant.
I had reviewed them before but for some reason is gone! Anyway, no matter how many times we go there it is always great! Food are delicious and tasty! The fact that owner walks around talking to costumer is beautiful and respectful! We love it there and we would always come back for great food. Last time we were there we realized the bread is not bottomless any more which is a bummer! We love their garlic bread and wish they didn’t make that change.
Very friendly restaurant. Food is pretty good! Well, I don’t really like the appetizer, but braised beef short ribs was delicious, especially the risotto are very very creamy! My husband likes the veal parmigiana.
I always pass by this place and it is always packed. I recommend making a reservation. There is indoor and covered outdoor seating.
When I sat down I was given a basket with bread sticks and garlic knots with some of the house tomato sauce. The bread was bland, my favorite was the garlic knots. The house sauce was tasty, so I knew I was in for a treat with my later dishes.
The fettuccine bolognese was lacking flavor and the noodles were over cooked and too soft. I honestly thought that it tasted like Chef Boyardee cheese raviloi.
I personally liked the spaghetti carbonara but others found the dish to be overly salty.
The braised beef short ribs were cooked properly, we all liked them. The risotto that it was laid on was delicious and the rice was very tender.
The Quattro Formaggio Pizza was tasty, it was a thin and very crispy crust with no burnt pieces, I was very pleased with the pizza. We also tried the New York Style pizza, the sauce was very light, it was not requested that way, it was not my favorite, I do not recommend it, the cheese and crust were bland.
We added meatballs to the pizza, but I wouldn't even call them meatballs, the consistency was that of a hot dog and tasted like licorice.
The lasagna came out bubbling hot and was packed with cheese. It was such a good lasagna and I was greatful that it wasn't messy.
We tried the calamari, I enjoyed it and but I will say that it is salty. The exterior breading was crispy and the calamari was tender. If you are looking for a low sodium food I do not recommend this dish.
We tried the caprese, it had a light vinaigrette. We requested more on the side.
The salted caramel gelato was delicious and had the flavor throughout it, I highly recommend trying this!
This resturant does not provide any fresh grated parmesan, they only have the old shakers.
Gregorio’s is one of our favorite restaurants!! It is family owned and operate. It is such a personal and warm experience. The food and the service are great too!! Seafood Asparagus is one of my favorite dishes. My husband loves the veal parm. Their slogan is “The secret ingredient is love.” It shows!!
For my birthday I wanted some Italian food and found the best catering price at Gregorio’s. I ordered a medium tray of Chicken Parmesan and Rigatoni Al Capone, both meals were very good and for around $15 dollars a person it was a great deal. The Garlic Rolls and Complementary bread that it comes with the were good aswell. I will definitely be back.
My party of 8 came in at 8pm and we immediately thought that it was freezing. William & his team made sure that the air was turned down and we were comfortable. One of my guests needs gluten free and she was given several fabulous options. Service was quick our water glasses were constantly filled. A 5 star experience and we will be back to dine ASAP. Thank you Chef!!
The food is always wonderful. Portion sizes are excellent and it tastes so good. I especially love the veal. As good as the food is, the service is exceptional. Friendly staff that makes you feel at home. I highly recommend making Gregorios a restaurant to visit repeatedly.
They get the 5 stars for the service first and the food second. Had the lasagna (too much sauce) and it was good enough but saturated unnecessarily. The garlic knots they give you while you wait are ridiculous when they're fresh. Will go back to try the pizza and other dishes.
Love this place! Good food and great service. Janet is the best server! We eat here 3 or more evenings every month. The Kahn family owns and operates multiple locations in the DC Metro area. They know this business well and it shows. You will love it, too!
I came here with my wedding party for lunch right after we got married. Everything was sooo good that I forgot to take pictures until everything was at least half eaten. The staff were very kind with recommendations and quick service. I got the Vodka Penne and it was amazing. The bread was super good and came in a few different kinds. We ordered a charcuterie platter for an appetizer and it was delicious and perfect to share. They gave us free tiramisu and Canoli to celebrate our wedding and it was incredible. The atmosphere is really nice, there's plenty of food per serving. I will cherish this place.
Celebrated my birthday with my sister at Gregorio's Trattoria. The food was delicious and service was superb. We had the calamari appetizer which was light and crispy and not oily. For dinner I had the pork chop with mushroom risotto and my sister had the chicken piccata. Both were moist and tasty. Angela, our server brought out the Tiramisu with a candle which was a nice surprise. Everyone had a smile and were friendly and nice.
I've never dined in at Gregorio's, but it's always packed. The pizza, pasta appetizers and salads are great. The items can be a bit pricey, but you always have leftovers so it all evens out. Good service at the bar as well.
