It was my sisters birthday and she wanted Thai food. It was a cute place it was clean too. She really enjoyed herself and her food. I’d definitely go again. It was my first time here, I have no complaints it was really pretty the food was hot and good. The price was reasonable exactly what I expected I have nothing bad to say.
I am not well-versed in Thai cuisine. So I had no expectations as to what lunch was about to be on the Thursday I trekked over to Sisters in Cabin John Shopping Center.
Let the record state: the food- all fresh and phenomenal. I had a vegetable stir fry that was more than plentiful and simply superb.
Drinks executed to absolute perfection. The decor and the ambiance- I felt like I was exactly where I was supposed to be (if that makes sense- there was a comfort to it). I highly recommend you venture out to Sisters.
Whether you live for Thai or are a “first Thaimer” like myself, there is something to be enjoyed and appreciated by all!
Love the cozy seating area. Food and service both amazing. This was my second visit and felt just as the first. Looking forward to a solo dinner here soon.
Came here for lunch Saturday, overall the food was good! Top favorites were the Crispy Duck Curry and Pottery Shrimp—big portions for lunch, and both dishes were well flavored and delicious. Tried the Som Tum (green papaya salad)—that was okay. For drinks, the Ruby Lychee smoothie was pretty tasty, a bit too sweet though.
Loved the atmosphere! The decor is well thought out. The ladies room is super cute. The food was pretty good. I had the Num Tok salad and a glass of Sauvignon Blanc. The seasoning and portion size were great. However, some of the beef was tough to chew. My husband had the Pad Tai. He said that it was flavorful with ample shrimp of a good size. The service was good- not exceptional, but good. I live in the south- so I’m accustomed to southern hospitality. Southern Hospitality is a real thing and I always have to be mindful of when we travel.
Having dinner with my friend to celebrate my birthday here. I love Thai food and I wanted something light for dinner. This place has perfect portion for all the dishes. The portion is small so we could try several dishes and still have some leftover to take home. The price is very reasonable considering it’s in nice Potomac area. The pottery shrimp is highly recommended. I definitely will go back here to try other Thai street food.
The food was extremely flavorful and cooked well. Desserts were not to sweet and the fruits are fresh.
The indoor seating is pretty small, so if you have a big party (more than 6 people), they will probably seat you outside. Lots of car parking around the place.
Sisters is super cute and cozy inside! They also have outdoor seating. The bathroom is even adorable and all the decor is just really fun!
They have an excellent coffee/drink menu. The menus are printed like little newspapers which adds to the whole cozy home experience.
Everything we've had has been delicious!
Tofu Red Curry
Chive Dumplings
Papaya Salad
Crab Fried Rice
Rose Tea Latte (They offer non-dairy milk options)
Service is excellent!
Prices are standard and reasonable.
Definitely a favorite spot of mine!
Food was amazing , so fresh and fast. The environment was a vibe, I would expect a better serving experience for the delicious food and the beautiful restaurant set up, so one star drop for that reason.
Great service. Spacing between other tables and patrons is a tad bit close. Can hear their conversation during my dine-in experience. Food was a 7/10. There’s no kids menu but, was grateful for the waiter offering Icecream to my daughter as we celebrated her great grades and art gallery exhibit that night! Thank you guys!
The restaurant has a really nice environment and the service is quick. I am glad that we have a good Thai food restaurant here. The deserts are really good. However, the curries are inconsistent. I had really good curry here, but the Massamam curry my son ordered was just so so. The Yen-Ta-4 is the reason why I gave a four star: we just had why bite and then nobody touched it again. I was expecting our server to ask us how about the food. But no. It was a little disappointment.
Really delicious. This was my first time trying this place out. They should be getting their liquor license this week. Seems like a perfect place to get a drink after work. Cute inside bar to meet for drinks. The only thing I didn’t care for was the appetizer. Seemed very bland not much to it (garden rolls). Would definitely come back it was a good experience.
Great food, enjoyed the drunken noodles and the toffee cake and ice cream and the Thai iced tea!!!!
All the food are awesome, with great portion. Also, the atmosphere is great, they put thoughts in decoration. A really awesome dining experience 😊
Especially the pink noodle soup is just so good!!!!!!
I’ve been to Sisters Thai in Fairfax multiple times and this was my first visit to the one in Potomac. I’m happy to report the quality is just as great as the other locations. I had the passionfruit sparkling drink, which was very refreshing and the right balance of sweet and tart. I also had the fried chive dumplings and the drunken noodles with chicken, which is always a classic order for me. The food was hot temperature wise which I always appreciate and the flavors were spot on. Definitely recommend this place.
