We got married yesterday and we loved our wedding cake so much that I saved some to eat for breakfast this morning and it’s so so so amazing! They did such a great job with our naked cake and the coconut filling was to die for!! Thank you guys so much for making the best wedding cake ever!
We can not say enough good things about this place! They did the cake for our wedding - came out beautiful and if it were even possible, it tasted better than it looked - not to rush the first year of marriage along but I can’t wait to taste this cake again at the start of year 2 already!! Lol but in all seriousness, the cake was truly amazing and everyone at the pastry garden was so easy to work with - very friendly and professional - the tasting was awesome and still one of my favorite parts of our wedding planning journey � everyone raved about how yummy our cake was (raspberry mousse and mocha mousse with vanilla cake and buttercream) - perfect blend of flavors that wasn’t too heavy at all-just delicious! We loved the design and how it matched our colors as well! Thanks pastry garden for making our wedding cake a reality!! �

Pastry Garden NEVER disappoints! My husband and I continue to make the drive from CT year after year just so that we can indulge in the delicious variety of treats. Not only are the options scrumptious (never dry or too sweet), but the presentation is outstanding and the staff incredibly helpful and friendly! We will continue to return, BUT will also keep praying that one day you might consider opening a location here in Fairfield County! Thank you for sharing your talents with us!
For our February 4th 2017 wedding: the pastry garden was so accommodating! We got our wedding cake (the classic white cake with chocolate mousse- divine!) and gluten free cupcakes for our guests that were also delicious through the folks at the Pastry Garden!
Having a winter/Adirondack themed wedding, I was imagining a cake that represented that theme. I couldn't find any reference photos to show what I was envisioning. When we had our meeting, the Pastry Garden was a pleasure to work with. I brought some pictures of bits of ideas we liked, and then we were shown a cake from another book and they were able to create a cake by blending the important pieces we envisioned to create a dream cake! It was truly one of a kind for us, and delicious too! Wedding cake, birthday cake, any reason you need some goodies in Poughkeepsie? There is no comparison!
With barely any direction from me, the Pastry Garden created a beautiful cake for my guy's surprise 40th birthday party. The crowd was FLOORED that the cake was vegan. It was simply delicious! Thank you so, so much for creating a tasty and gorgeous cake!

The Pastry Garden did our wedding cake this past January. It was a devils food cake with fudge and vanilla frosting. It was absolutely delicious! They got the style of our cake perfectly as well. It was beyond beautiful. We loved their professionalism and their tasting process! We were never pushed or pressured into doing anything. It was wonderful. Our wedding cake was on point. It was everything and more than we expected. Originally I was worried about using butttercream over the gum paste for the decoration, but it was in point. The yellow cake with moose filling was so delicious and we aren’t sure we want to freeze the cake it might just wind up in our bellies instead..

Having just moved from the Bronx to poughkeepsie I didn't know where to look for a cake , so I went to Google and found The Pastry Garden .. The cake is as good as it looks!!! I couldn't have asked for more for my daughter's 3rd birthday...priced fairly. Did I mention the great taste? The Pastry Garden is my new cake place
From my original phone call to eating the cake I purchased, the entire experience was EXCEPTIONAL. They were able to accommodate a last minute sugar free cake for me and it was INCREDIBLE! The staff were warm, welcoming, and efficient. I had the privilege of meeting the amazing owner and am proud to say I have officially found my new bakery! Also, the rainbow cookies are PERFECTION. The Pastry Garden is renowned for their carrot cake, so when it came time to get my husband's birthday cake for his 30th birthday, I knew I had to go to them. I also got assorted cupcakes. They were so friendly and helpful throughout my experience. There was a hiccup with my order. I was initially told they could do something on buttercream icing, which it turns out they could not. When I got the call they were very apologetic. I told them to do their thing as I trusted their expertise and I was not disappointed. The cake came out beautifully! Carrot cake is my husbands favorite and he is still raving about it. The cupcakes were also a hit. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND The Pastry Garden. Their bakers are highly skilled, their service is impeccable, and they go above and beyond.
Wonderful Bakery! We ordered our Wedding cake back in December of 2019 for a wedding scheduled in May 2020 after having to postpone three times we finally were able to have our Wedding this past weekend and everything was wonderful our Cake was amazing & as beautiful as we imagined it would be. After such a long wait a welcomed sight!

Our cake for our wedding at FEAST was made by The Pastry Garden and they deserve a fantastic review! We decided to go with the Red Velvet cake.
