The staff is the best! Food is amazing and the prices are more than fair. We try to get there at least once a week and I would highly recommend this restaurant as Powell's hidden gem.
I just had to submit a review after stopping in this evening. Don Tequila has the most amazing staff. Everyone in the restaurant is so kind, funny, and extremely attentive. I was in this evening with a friend for the second time and plan to make it a regular hangout. The food is so fresh and delicious, and the staff even convinced us to get a second margarita. Who could possibly say no to an incredible $3.99 margarita? � Thanks for a great experience, DT staff. I'll be a regular. �
Food and service was great. It was super hot in the restaurant at first, and I was planning on not staying because of how hot it was. The waiter immediately turned on the A/C and it cooled down within minutes. Would recommend it to anyone.

Food was great! Loved my drink... On the beach. I definitely would go back. They had some unique food choices then the some of the other Mexican restaurants. Our waiter was awesome.
I normally don't do this, but Don Tequila's in Powell rocks it. The food amazingly speaks for itself. Awesome authentic upscale Mexican. The place has a very clean full tiled rich atmosphere. Plenty of huge tv's for watching the game. Service, well. The owner Esteban came in and not only seated us. , bussed tables and waited tables as well as the rest of his busy staff. He told us " I wouldn't ask my employees to do what I wouldn't do"". A must try!!! 5 stars here! We will be regulars!!
We love going here for dinner and lunch. It's great for date night and even my teenagers like it too! They have dishes you can find at common Mexican themed restaurants, as well as adventurous dishes. Their margaritas and Horchata are yummy!

Enjoyed the tasty dinner (#13 combo plate) and service was fantastic! The complimentary salsa and chips tastes a bit watered down though, and i wish that rice and beans accompanied this 11.99 dollar plate.

The food is of such great flavor! The meat is moist and juicy in every bite! The sauce on top has such a great depth of tastes. This is food that you end up dreaming about.
Great food and atmosphere! Very busy tonight had to wait an hour for main dishes to arrive but it was worth it. Waiter was checking in a lot and our glasses always full. Highly recommend.
I really like this place, Texas dip is delightful, and the menu has several options I have never been disappointed with. Granted I have only been here a couple times recently and anticipate my next visit before I leave, but am always happy when we visit and hope you all have a similar experience.
Got the beef burrito and taco for lunch. Needed a little more rice. And needed shredded lettuce and sour cream on the burrito. Portion size was filling.
Brought my husband and 1 year old for lunch after the zoo, wonderful food, great service and not super crowded. A peaceful, delicious Tuesday lunch!
