This is a quietly little place (no kids allowed) with wonderful homemade cafe style food. The grilled cheese was perfect and the creamy chicken noodle soup (current soup of the day) was delicious! This meal was exactly what I needed on a chilly afternoon. The server was so friendly and great with suggestions. Will definitely be coming back here.
Friendly staff in a very cozy space. I felt right at home the moment I sat down. The food came fast, I had chicken fried steak, eggs (over medium), hash browns, and sour dough toast, it was a delicious, cooked perfectly, and not over portioned. I'll be back again and again.
I recommend coming here for a delicious and quickly served breakfast (I'll try lunch at a later date).
This is one of those places that you only occasionally find. The advetise fresh meat and it was.
The service was great, they listened to how I wanted everything prepared and it came out exactly as ordered.
They are friendly and open to conversation. I expect that they get busy from time to time but it is probable worth the wait.

Tired of the hotel breakfast I walked over to Debbie Sue's Cafe and was very happy that I did. The cafe is small but cozy and the biscuits and gravy with hash browns and bacon, which was some of the best bacon that I have had. Bye Bye hotel breakfast because I will be eating at Debbie Sue's when in Prineville.

I LOVE this adorable little 50's rock 'n' roll styled cafe! Luckily, it was the very first place that popped up during a quick search on Google for delicious breakfast in Prineville.
First off, it's tiny. Like super small and cozy. There couldn't have been more than 6 places to sit and not much room for large groups (although a party of 10 did saunter in and were happily accommodated). We were served coffee right away. It was weaker than I hoped but I usually don't walk into a small restaurant like this and expect Starbucks Reserve. So it was fine.
My husband bellied up to Sue's Cafe Breakfast (choice of bacon or sausage, 2 eggs, hash browns and toast, $10.75). I chose Chicken Fried Steak (served with gravy, hash browns, two eggs and toast, $9.75). We were impressed! He got 4 slices of thick, perfectly cooked bacon which we agreed was generous. There was plenty of gravy with my dish and the hash browns were perfectly crispy. It was just exactly how chicken fried steak should be - deep-fried, fatty deliciousness! The portions were large enough to keep the both of us filled for our entire 6 hour trip home.
I would definitely recommend Debbie Sue's, and will happily return when given the chance!
One more thing - Debbie Sue's is strictly 21 and over, even during breakfast hours! We did see the owner enforce the policy. Some may not favor this however I respect the owner's decision to have a such a policy that's followed through.
Good food, good service. Atmosphere is a bit strange, mostly diner/cafe vibes, but with gambling machines in the corner and an alcoholic drink menu. I would go back, just thought it was a bit odd. I’m from out of state, maybe it’s just the local vibe…
Had a nice time there but seemed like the waitresses didn't want to waste their time with us but all in all I love Debussy is not just for the little poker machines but the atmosphere there is actually 99% of the time very relaxed non-judgmental I think maybe my friends and I just showed up on an off day which happens to all of us I still continue to go

Best place to eat in Prineville, hands down!! The steak breakfast is tender and amazing. Hash browns are crispy and not greasy. Service is friendly. Cleanliness of the facility is immaculate. If you don’t eat at Debbie Sue’s while you’re in Prineville, you made a huge mistake!!
