Staying at the hotel next door and this place came recommended from a friend from Providence. It did not disappoint at all. From the moment I walked in I was made to feel very welcome! I live the rustic look and the vibe. Louis behind the bar was awesome!! I also had the pleasure of meeting his mother/owner Ruth. I really had a very good time and they were just really cool people! The food was excellent, especially the Reuben with the cole slaw and pastrami added. This was my first time here and they definitely did it right with my experience!! I very much recommend this cool spot!! Thank you Louis & Ruth for being awesome!!
Spent the weekend at "The Dean"...Murphy's was the best part about the stay (the dean, was less than pleasant). We had Saturday PM dinner, food was amazing (wings & potato skins best I've had, great salads & clearly fresh/homemade shepards pie), drinks were great, service awesome & atmosphere perfect to watch the Bs game.
We also had Sunday breakfast. Hubby says the hash was best he has had.
Thanks for the great meals, we will be back!
In town from Georgia and stumbled across this pub. Awesome place!!!! Delicious food and friendly staff.
Went for lunch while at a conference downtown. First time there and it was great! Generous portions on the sandwiches. Even though it was crazy busy, our server gave us equal attention. � can’t wait to check out the night life there!

We were going to a Providence Bruins game and stop in for dinner and a drink. Was very impressed with the staff and the great food. I had read an earlier review that the fries were soggy and not very good but my fries were awesome and so wasn't my sandwich. I was disappointed that they were out of the wine I like but they were very accommodating and wanted me to try a couple of different wines. Very satisfied with the whole evening.
