Was feeling adventurous today so I took my kindergartener, 3 and almost 2 yo here today for a small after school snack. It was a little tough getting the stroller up the step up through the door, oldest was holding the door, and I was much surprised to see the barista come from behind the counter and help us into the shop! At the counter it was easy to select 2 cookies and a standard coffee as our intro bites. The barista very patiently answered my 5 yo's many questions and was so interactive and friendly with him . We felt so welcome at this little east side spot, that we decided to eat at one of the outdoor tables. We made a wonderful little family memory on an especially nice fall day at an especially special little coffee shop. The coffee was absolutely amazing, the kind you can drink black because it's utterly delicious. I'm feeling nostalgic now about that first sip...so so so good. The cookies had their own distinct chewy tasty flair. The service was amazing, breezy and friendly to a T. We absolutely will be back! Bravo the Shop, you guys are doing everything right! I can't speak highly enough of the barista, who I'm sorry to say I didn't catch her name. I was a little apprehensive about taking all my littles into such a cute little place, but those fears were instantly gone with such a beautiful human interaction. Dear barista, you make the world a better place!

Coldbrew on tap. Yes, on tap. Easily the best coffee you can drink in Providence, and I wish It weren't because it's really sorta outta the way for me... but I pretty much have to work Fox Point into my week now. It's too good a brew to pass up. The coldbrew has a stout-like taste to it and is easily worth the 4$ it costs. Also the shop had mini pies/quiches which were very good as well. Between The Shop, The Coffee Exchange, and White Electric... Providence is BREWING with quality coffee (haha) but really, The Shop has my vote for Go To Brew in the city (and state) with that coldbrew.

Love The Shop. Small, beautiful menu. Coffee from Stumptown is wonderful. Lentil stew is warm and nourishing and the flavors are like nowhere else. Folks who work there are welcoming and warm. Decor is rustic and simple. Try the avacado - addictive. Supports local vendors.

One of my new favorite coffee shops in Providence. The owners and staff are wonderful, that coffee is fantastic and the design of the space makes you want to hang and relax. I'm an espresso & latte lover and they do an excellent job.

Turmeric citrus soda is made from scratch, super refreshing and delicious! Mine had little juicy bits of pulp that made it extra tasty and fresh. There is a little outdoor seating area (3 smallish tables and a couple benches) that is breezy and perfectly shaded from the late afternoon sun, and when I was here late on a summer Friday afternoon there weren't a ton of people crowding the area. A nice little peaceful break from the crowds further up Wickenden. I hope to come back and try the food soon!

This place is pretty neat and the drinks are good. I decided to try the seasonal ice tea and was pleasantly surprised. The kick of mint in it does leave you feeling refreshed. It’s take out only, but tables have been placed in the governor/wickeden square so you could always sit there or go for a 5 minute walk and enjoy India Point Park. Overall, nice coffee shop!

I really loved this place; it’s quaint, it’s clean, it’s real ;). The espresso was excellent, the service was great, with smiles. I had the avocado toast, simple and perfect, includes chilli pepper flakes, how could you go wrong??!! The bread that accompanied the toast was very fresh and tasty.
