I had a fantastic dining experience at Mac's Fish House in Provincetown! The service was incredibly friendly and welcoming, making us feel right at home. The highlight of the meal was undoubtedly the fresh seafood. The Oysters, Clams, Mussels, and Lobster were all impeccably fresh and delicious, showcasing the restaurant's commitment to quality. I was pleasantly surprised by the sushi offerings, which were equally impressive. The Korean chicken sandwich was a delightful departure from traditional seafood, and its flavors were outstanding. While the dessert options were limited, the flourless chocolate cake was a sweet note to end the meal on. Overall, Mac's Fish House offers a diverse and satisfying seafood experience with exceptional service, making it a must-visit in Provincetown.

This place wowed us. I came thinking I would try a lobster roll since I’d never had one but the menu was so extensive and exciting I didn’t bother with the lobster. I couldn’t decide between 4 options so I let our really great waiter help me pick. My Spicy Ahi Tuna dinner was amazing and so was my daughters build your own fish tacos. Expensive but worth it in my opinion. My mother in law did not appreciate their culinary take on clam chowder but I think that’s because she was looking for a classic, thick and creamy chowder. This place is taking creative license with their dishes so don’t expect classic Americana food. It has a more Asian twist.

Excellent quality and wide-ranging choice of seafood at this car-accessible location (ample free parking). Being a bit removed from the old center and close to the limited access Rt 6, this location attracts customers from other locations on the Cape as well as day trippers to PTown. We had an 8:15 pm reservation. For most of the dinner we were inundated with loud, raucous noise from a party of at least 20 mature adults/seniors. Being seniors ourselves, my husband and I are neither antisocial nor party-poopers but we do enjoy having a quiet conversation during dinner. My rating of two stars on ‘atmosphere’ reflects ambiance more akin to Madison Square Garden or Yankee Stadium ( go Bombers!) rather than a restaurant. This may not be representative of most diners’ experience here, but being a large location, the seating host could have offered a choice of seating with one option being farther away from the noisy party. That’s a shame because the kitchen prepared first class seafood, and our waiter was friendly and mostly customer focused. There were a few delays in serving. I had a non-gringo spicy swordfish with green curry and rice. Outstanding! My husband had salmon. Very fresh, cooked to perfection and unrestrained spicing. Pricing was fair given the high quality of the fish. There is also a fish market at the same location open during the day. All in all, I recommend that this restaurant, but don’t be shy about wearing your favorite team cap! (It’s not a romantic restaurant)

Easily some of the best food in Provincetown, if you have the chance - get the lobster. Service was fantastic. Food was delicious. Everyone was friendly!

Absolutely great food! Crab rangoon sushi roll was to die for. Fried oysters were hot, crispy and delicious. Wait staff was right on top of everything and professional and pleasant. Several different choices of seating within the restaurant and outside. No views but the ambiance was fine. We chose it due to the varied menu, parking and pricing and were not disappointed. I've actually had many good meals here in previous years and will be back.

Had a great time here with family the other day. Thursday nights they have all you can eat fish and chips which we came for. They really hit the mark! The fish was cooked so well and they even had malt vinegar to have with them! The decor is nice inside, the booths are great if you can snag one and it is easy to make a reservation on their website. The starters and main courses came out of the kitchen quickly and we all had a great time.

Excellent food and the fried food is gluten free!!! I thought the fried scallops were my favorite. As a celiac, I appreciate places I can eat without worry. The wellfleet oysters were fresh and tasty and a great price during happy hour! $1 each from 3-5. Our server was so friendly and helpful! We had a great time eating on the patio and even came back the next day for a gluten free lobster roll. ❤️

The food was delicious! Oyster happy hour equals amazing. The only thing is that I asked for no bacon on my salad and it came with pieces of bacon which I realized after I had already started eating. Overall good service just wish this wasnt overlooked.

Love all the Mac’s locations. Great food and a blessing for GF lovers. Our family has a few people who do/must eat GF and it’s so. ice to know we can go to any one of Mac’s locations on the Cape and feel safe knowing g all their food is GF. And it tastes great too. This was our first visit to the Provincetown location(open all winter) and we were not disappointed. This location has wait service unlike some of Mac’s which have counter service. Lily was our waitress and she was phenomenal. She was timely with our service and had a personality that shined. She is a credit to Mac’s. We opted for a non seafood lunch day and had chicken wings, fingers and fries. All were prepared perfectly and tasted just like regular servings. Our family honestly can’t thank Mac’s and all their employees for making us safe when we dine out. There is ample parking in front, on the side and out back. I would imagine this must be a blessing in the busy summer season. Mac’s is conveniently located just outside of downtown Provincetown. I highly suggest you check it out whether you have to eat GF or not.

We had a lovely dinner at Mac’s. Our server was very friendly and after hearing it was the first night of our honeymoon, she brought complimentary calamari to the table. I have had celiac disease for 15+ years and have missed fried food. I was able to enjoy many delicious choices at Mac’s. We will definitely be coming back!

We ate at a few places in PTown over four days. Mac's was by far the best dinner hands down. The food was fresh, tasted great, and had large portions. Service was timely and attentive. Cocktails were also tasty and creative. If we found them sooner, we would have more meals here. Kudos Mac's! Outdoor dining was a huge plus as well!
