Malawi's Pizza was good. They where really fast cooking the pizzas and getting them to us. This is a more fancy type of pizza so it might be for everyone. My kids disliked the five cheese pizza. The atmosphere of the restaurant was nice.

LOVED this place! We originally went to this place because of the buy one get one deal for the starving student card, but we will definitely be back nonetheless!! Great atmosphere and brings in the amazing African culture! Service was amazing and the owner was there hands on in the back! The pizza was so delicious—thin crust that I love, great selection of pizza specialties, and light but filling! Would definitely recommend!

Really yummy pizza! We came in after a movie and it wasn’t overly busy and the staff was so friendly. I would definitely come in again!

Awesome place for pizza! The restaurant has a fun atmosphere with some hanging lights and a large fake tree and a lot of the walls dedicated to educating customers on Malawi’s mission to provide meals to those in need Africa. Very cool. The pizza is a little pricier but the quality is great. We tried the pesto chicken, the meat lovers, the BBQ chicken, and the bacon chicken ranch - all very good! Definitely recommend stopping by!

I highly recommend this place; the atmosphere is excellent, the place is clean, and great people work here! Delicious pizza with many options and a great mission; "For every meal purchased, Malawi's Pizza provides a nutritious meal to a child in Malawi, Africa." Reasonable price and I always received excellent customer service from JP.

My husband and I both got the $12 lunch deal of a full size pizza of our choice, a small drink (or you can upgrade to a large), and a side salad. Great deal! I wish the pineapple and ham pizza had a lot more cheese on it, but that’s always the risk of trying a new pizza! I loved my husband’s pizza though! I love that every meal you purchase here buys a meal for a kid in Malawi too :)

Our first visit. We all enjoyed our pizza very much. Our order came out astonishly quick. The crust is thin but still soft. The ingredients are good quality. The staff was very friendly. We pointed out they were out of napkins and they were on it instantly. The pizzas are small personal size pizzas just the right size. If you go with a group get a lot of different pies and share you won't be disappointed. We'll be back for sure.

Good pizza, for a good purpose. I'm glad to help support them if they're helping others.

Awesome experience at this restaurant. The pizza was ready within minutes, super fast even though is freshly made. ALL THEIR INGREDIENTS ARE HIGH QUALITY AND VERY VERY TASTY. I recommend everyone to try the Meat Safari Pizza, it’s delicious!! We also tried the Chicken Bacon Ranch and it was good but I preferred the Meat Safari. We were their last clients on a Friday night. I usually hate to go to a restaurant late at night because it’s normal to find cranky staff that just wants to go home. Despite the hour all their staff was very welcoming. They were super friendly with our little niece and the manager JP even took the time to come to our table and check how everything was. Again even though it was very late the restaurant was very clean. I loved the look of the restaurant, very bright and nice ambient music. All their decoration refers to Malawi, Africa. The place were they give a free meal for every meal you buy here. Family friendly and I would say really good to bring a date too. I enjoyed sitting in front of the guy making the pizzas.

I had a good experience here today. Malawi's offers a Variety of quality pizzas at a reasonable price. Yet, their service was a little slow. Overall, it's worth trying.

Came here on New Years Day and Malawi’s was one of the few options in The Riverwood’s that was open. We received a warm welcome and attentive service. The lunch special is an awesome deal! My wife got the capri and I got the sausage and mushroom. Both were cooked well and tasted great! Will for sure come back!

Love Malawi’s. The ownership is awesome. One of the Owners hasn’t rung me up in like 4-6 months but recognized me, remembered my salad dressing preference and thanked me for coming in! Pizza is also delicious.

My friend and I came to the area to visit. We got there too early so most stores were close, so we walked around for a bit. We came across JP, one of the employees and he was SO KIND to us. He talked to us and even went out of his way to walk us to some shops that were open that he thought we'd be interested in. We then went back in to get something to drink. Again, customers service was AMAZING. Didn't eat any food so can't comment on that but im sure its great too judging by the smell. The customer service was enough to make me want drive back here from Logan to try the food too. Place is super clean, and we'll maintained! 10/10 would recommend from just that experience.

The food was amazing and quite affordable, I really loved the atmosphere as well. It's also nice that it's part of a charity and a part of the proceeds goes to helping kids in Africa. Over a great experience, great food, and a good time. If you like pizza and a good cause you will want to make this place a regular stop.

Went for lunch to celebrate with SIL. Not busy. Good food. Friendly service. A little more expensive than average but good portion sizes. The only reason I didn't give an overall five stars is, I don't see myself coming back often (maybe again?). Nothing bad about the experience, just nothing enough to draw me back. I would recommend trying it to anyone.

A solid 3 to 4 stars. Let’s be honest: Provo has a lot of pizza options. Malawi’s is good, but pricier than most every other option. And the pizza was again, good, but not quite a five star experience. I got a Capri, a 5 cheese, and a breadstick. All the pizzas are essentially what you’d find at Mod or the Blaze, a quick fired pizza. The crust stands out as particularly and notably light and airy. The breadstick is cheap at $2, a nice find, but tastes like regular bread… which is a bit bland for a pizza place breadstick to be honest. The marinara for it is fresh tasting but also thin and watery. The Capri was really good, especially bites with the tomatoes. Amazing! However, the balsamic didn’t quite hit the right complementary notes, something I’ve seen implemented much better elsewhere. Hard to put my finger on it. Not bad by any means though. I enjoyed it more the farther into the pizza I got. The five cheese was a disappointment. I was expecting what turned out to be a FORMER menu item, the FOUR cheese, that had sauce; the FIVE cheese does NOT. There’s nothing special about the five cheese, and I recommend a skip. Be aware other menu items may have changed, such as the Thai being discontinued. So on balance, I’d say 12 bucks for a decent but ultimately very light pizza doesn’t really hit for me. Plus a dull breadstick experience. I had a coupon, which made it a great choice I don’t regret, but I can’t say it’s worth the drive to the Riverwoods for me personally thinking forward.

I’ve passed here a few times and we came in as a family last night. When we got there around 9PM it wasn’t busy, pizzas are made to order, and they tasted light and healthy. All in all though I prefer heavier pizza, I was happy and surprised with the pizza here and would recommend Malawi’s pizza.
