Shirley's is a great local bakery. The sweet rolls are top notch. Soft, chewy, and tender bread topped with a generous amount of fluffy frosting. They are reasonably priced as well, about $1/ each for a large dinner roll sized bun. You can't go wrong with raspberry, orange, or cinnamon ... and go for the cream cheese frosting!

Love Shirleys. Their sweet rolls are amazing. My favorite are the lemon and the raspberry sweet rolls. Such fun flavors and they are so soft and delicious. Their sandwiches and salads are also so good. We tried a breakfast sandwich which we really liked because it had great flavor and didn’t have an egg in it which is pretty unusual for a breakfast sandwich.
Very friendly service and even better baked goods! Shirley's has some really large sweet roles that are absolutely delicious but very difficult to finish. There is always a good smell when you walk into the bakery!
The food here is good. They switched to Coke products, so that’s great. Their baked goods are beyond. Their service is hit or miss. Most are kind, but the one girl with her wedding ring on her glasses is wildly angry and rude. I don’t know if she’s that way with everyone, or if she sees my elderly grandma and Down syndrome uncle come in and is already mad at having to help them, but it feels not so great, whatever the reason.
I like that I didn't have to order breakfast at breakfast time. The resturant let us order lunch. I ordered Cali Club on white bread, BBQ chips and drink. I also bought a container of rolls that is half blueberry and other half lemon. Can't wait to try them. I love any type of pastries or breads. Will go back and bring daughters to try. I really like that Shirley's doesn't waste by using Styrofoam or cardboard for serving food. Just a smaller cookie sheet and parchment paper. Way to save the environment.
My experience here today was not spectacular. Shirley's has a great idea, but I wasn't That happy with my sandwich. Perhaps it was just the time of day. But, my experience was good enough to give this place a second chance.
Unassuming little restaurant. I stopped in for a late lunch. I ordered the seasonal salad and my friend ordered the Cobb salad. Everything was fresh, crispy, and delicious. The salads also come with a fresh, well-made Parkerhouse roll. The staff was friendly and the portions generous. My other friend ordered a panini, which was fresh and delicious.
This is a rare gem which offers fresh and delicious salads as well as fresh and delicious baked goods, two rarities for the restaurant industry.
Great foods ,don't know how many employees that have, slow service always have to check what they have , sometimes they don't the most popular coconut swirls. But the pulled Turkey salad is the bomb. I will be back.

I go in, drive thru & order catering, so obviously I REALLY like Shirleys! Hard to say favorites, but the #1 item there is the Chicken Wild Rice Soup! I think it should be on the menu Every day, not just Monday. It is one of the BEST things I have ever eaten! Ever, Eaten! They offer samples, so sample it, but save some for me😊👍🏼 The Cobb Salad is fresh & delish. I am picky in my dressings, sauces, & it can make or break my whole experience. Shirleys, has it down✅ Great Chicken Salad, sandwiches are so good! Now........drumroll 🥁, the Bakery 👩🏼🍳! Bread 🍞, rolls, baguettes 🥖, everything but brioche. All the bread is amazing! The pastry-divine. THE BEST FROSTING ✨💕 Highlights are the British 🇬🇧 Scones, Sweetrolls(cinnamon, orange, blueberry), Cinnamon pullaparts(like frosted Monkeybread-but BETTER), eclairs, Palmiers-Also called Elephant Ears), and a wide, delicious variety of cookies 🍪‼️They also offer adorable gifts, and will custom wrap the cutest & coolest 😎 gift ‼️🎁✨ I read some of the other reviews and I have had the same hot/cold dealings with staff and the whole S L O W fast food/grouchy staff also. But guess what ? These people have probably been there since the middle of the night-bakers hours👨🏼🍳‼️ Give them a break, a good word, and a TIP‼️ They work HARD, for probably a small college town wage. TIP‼️ Make their day and show your love for the tiny frosted sugar cookies‼️ The re-model is adorable, the bathrooms are clean. This place should be Franchised ‼️❤️✨
