Overall Chuck-A-Rama Buffet is a reasonable place to eat for most people...
They have plenty of different choices during the week; with different menus for each day of the week. Most people come on the days that have their favorite foods. Some items are always on the buffet.
Here is a nice custom dessert drink... mix 1/3 ice cream & 2/3 slushy in a glass and stir/mix it up... (adjust to your liking: amounts & stirring/mixing).

My experience here today was good. Some of the food offered tasted great, yet other food tasted bland and burnt. Plus, the service wasn't great. I feel like it's hit & miss on the quality of their product. Overall, any experience in the future is questionable.
I’ve never eaten here before so I told my bf I wanted to come check it out. The food was pretty good :) my 2 yr old loved it. The pizza was actually great! The roll’s & common butter hit the spot

Lots of options and food was great. Both the lady at the front and at our table so sweet and friendly. Drink options were off the chain and free with the buffet. Only thing I was sad about was the mashed potatoes. It’s my favorite dish and it was bland. They had plenty of butter and salt and pepper to add to it. It is just a personal preference. One of the best buffets I have been to.
I stopped here for dinner a week ago while driving up to Salt Lake from Lake Powell since this buffet was near the interstate and easy to get to. This buffet was about as good as many of the other Chuck A Rama buffets I been to. The place was packed which was to be expected on a Saturday evening. They had a great selection of food here and all was good.
Very great dining choice for a pre-Thanksgiving feast! Tons of selections. Oh, and pretty good ice cream! Sadly, they were out of chocolate, but the vanilla was smooth and satisfying!
The only thing I hated was the reminder on why I don't go more often.
they keep the place really clean and the food fresh. the staff have always been courteous and polite. some times it gets a bit crowded but it's expected for being a popular restaurant. the prices have gone up which keeps us from going as frequently as we used to but overall it's a great place to eat.
First time at this location. Hostess was very friendly and nice. Food was good, and filled quickly. Our server was nice. Very clean. Orange cream soft serve was a nice surprise.
This is the best buffet I've ever been to, it's so freaking good and we go out to eat there a lot. Their rolls are really really good, so is their chicken 🍗 and I love their ice cream too 😋😋

The service was exceptional.
As far as the variety, there is something for everyone here.
The night we went the theme was Mexican food so there was enchiladas and taco salad.
Other areas of the buffet roast beef, fried chicken, pizza, salad bar, and dessert was offered.
Drinks were also included in the price and I liked that they charge children according to their age.
Full buffet on offer, serve yourself. Choose your meal and enjoy it. Drinks and dessert are included. A large selection of food is available to make a great meal. Seniors pay a discount rate, very thoughtful. Seconds and refills are allowed. Worth a revisit. 👍💐 Certain nights have special food offerings.
Great selection and so delicious! Staff was very friendly and helpful even with the mess my toddlers made 🥴🙈
Drinks are included with the price of the buffet, and they have quite the variety. Scones are absolutely amazing 😋
Lots of fun memories and been years since I've gone. Still super yummy. Kids loved the Mac and cheese, endless special drinks, and desserts. I loved the carving station, mashed potatoes, and scones. And they have the nostalgic classic carrot salad I haven't had since I was 8. And I loved it. We had a great dinner. The servers were super friendly. Great place for families.

We haven't been to Chuck-a-Rama in over 9 years and honestly it's never been our favorite. We decided to give it a try and I'm so glad we did. The food has improved a ton from the last time we came. The salad bar did not disappoint! I loved all of the fresh food available and there was definitely something for everyone is my family. My kids loved the rolls and cornbread especially! I enjoyed the roast beef and was happy to see horseradish available for the side. We enjoyed the turkey also.
We were a little sticker-shocked for kid's prices. I wish they were more reasonable because my kids eat like sparrows. I'd give it 5 stars if kids were more reasonably-priced.

We came again, but this time for lunch. We were pleased with the selection and the price for our whole family was better. We came on Tuesday and they featured Asian food. The orange chicken and sweet and sour chicken were so good. The chicken was crispy and the sauces were yummy. The salad selection is so good! There is definitely something here for everyone.

We came again for lunch. It was "Chuck Wagon" day so they had onion rings, beans, sausage and grilled peppers, cheesey potatoes, and BBQ ribs. The salad bar was really yummy and we love all the fresh choices. My kids' favorite part was making their own sundaes. We love that there is something here that everyone loves. One suggestion is to not include drinks or charge less for those that only have water.
One thing that would improve this place is more extensive labeling of foods. The Boise restaurant is much better in this regards. The food was fine.
Delicious lunch and so fun/easy with kids!!! Go before noon to beat the lunch rush. The salad bar is the very best part!! Kids love the Mac and cheese and pizza. My mom is now a senior and never likes to eat out. This place is always an exception!
Hands down the best buffet we have ever eaten at!!! They have lots of choices and the food was amazing. Buffets get a bad rep for being trashy and dirty, but this buffet and location was clean and felt like a restaurant rather than a buffet. People were dressed nicely and children weren't everywhere. We will recommend this place all day.
