Excelente!!!! Legit Italian food, carefully and lovingly hand-made, served fresh and hot!!
Reminded me of my time in Buenos Aries, Argentina, and how much I enjoyed the real Italian food there made from Italians that had immigrated there.
Thank you for great service, too!
Overall I enjoyed my meal here. The decor was ok, and the food was good, but the best part was the Italian staff which made it feel like we were in Italy.
We got their Mozzarella cheese sticks appetizer which were good, then we did there dinner for two deal which was about $35 for two entrees, a soup or salad each, a side of bread, drinks and dessert.
The salad and minestrone soup and ceasers salad where yummy, the bread and chocolate cake could have been better, the parmesan chicken which was ok, but had some very delicious pasta a gratte on the side, and the chicken Alfredo which was delicious!
I liked that the restaurant was quite, despite how many people where there.
Would totally eat here again.

This is such a cute little hole in the wall Italian restaurant! The owner comes directly from Italian and really knows how to make authentic Italian food. The price is standard for what you’d expect at a restaurant, but they’re a little understaffed. It’s hard to get seated quickly because there just aren’t enough people to keep up with everyone coming in. It’s a great place though, so I imagine it’ll grow and expand to accommodate need!
We ate at this restaurant one year ago and enjoyed the food and the ambiance. Our motorhome touring brought us back to Provo. We felt drawn to return to “La Dolce Vita” to see if we would be impressed again. We ate at one of the outdoor tables with our small dog lying by our feet. The food was tastefully Italian (that means delicious); the service was top self and the view of the mountains with the sun setting was unforgettable. I highly recommend this restaurant!
Great almost every time we’ve gone! The only issue we’ve had is poor waiter service but the food here is the best Italian I’ve had! The Ana’s Spinach Ravioli is my favorite and their homemade Italian dressing so good! The chicken Alfredo is so good as well!
Edit: they currently have mozzarella sticks and they’re so amazing!
I had an exceptional dining experience at La Dolce Vita. The moment my wife and I walked in, we were greeted by an amazing hostess who made us feel like valued guests. The restaurant's ambiance transported us to Italy, and the flavors of the dishes were truly authentic. Every bite was a journey through Italian culinary traditions, from the rich pasta dishes to the delectable desserts. And let's not forget about the wine selection – it perfectly complemented the meal, enhancing the entire dining experience. If you're seeking a taste of Italy and impeccable service, La Dolce Vita is the place to be. The beef cutlet is perfect.
delizioso! 😊
Wow, this is some of the best Italian food that I’ve had. Honestly. And I travel all over the western US for my job and I’ve eaten at many different Italian places …this one and one other are definitely the top two.
We’ve been coming here for a long time and literally nothing has changed. Is it the best Italian restaurant? No. Is it good and dependable? Yes. Chicken parm combo and the pasta combo are the best items on the menu.
It was a good experience to know this little piece of Italy here in Provo. It was like visiting Oliver Garden, but here it's more original. The food tasted great. The starter with toasted bread and butter was perfect. The ambiance is in need of an update, but it's simple and old-fashioned in design, looking like an Italian house. I recommend.
This was mine and my wife's first time at La Dolce Vita and we were pleasantly surprised not only by the size of the restaurant but also it's popularity. The restaurant was packed and my wife and I were glad we had made a reservation. Personally, I am not a fan of most chain Italian restaurants and so the fact that La Dolce Vita is local adds to its unique experience. I had the Napoletano Calzone, which was delicious and my wife had the chicken pesto pizza that she noted was quite good because of the fresh pesto. We will definitely keep La Dolce Vita in mind the next time we crave Italian food.
Good Italian food fast! Delicious bread and staff was very attentive.
Excellent food, portions, staff, and price.
We have been told by many friends to visit this restaurant and so we decided to spend our date night here. We were greeted quickly and cordially by the staff and received service promptly.
They had a great $30 dinner option for two that filled us up heartily with leftovers to bring home of our tortellini, gnocchi, and penne, along with two tasty cannolis to share.
While the bread was just okay and the presentation was not something I would expect at a local Italian restaurant (I realize we are in Provo, and I've added photos, so you be the judge), neither was enough to make me feel this place deserved anything less than 5 stars. We will definitely return for a future date night!
We love La Dolce Vita! One of our favorite resturaunts. We always get the pasta combo with the pasta a gratte and rigatoni. The minestrone soup is simple and delicious. We have been going for at least a decade and it has always been good. Staff is always friendly too!
Great atmosphere, service, and especially food. Ordered the Gnocchi and the Pasta a Gratté. Really good. Our server kept out water full the entire time and the food came out one after the other. Not more then 15 minutes. The bread came out right when we sat down. Please stay forever because we’re coming back!
Iconic! Old Italy is still in Provo! Love it!
I think the food is amazing. They have the most delicious alfredo sauce. Every time I would eat at Olive Garden I would get super sick. La Dolce Vita has the best sauces, and their minestrone soup is my favorite! I crave it whenever I get sick. Only downside, I wish they would give you "unlimited" bread like Olive Garden does. You get 1 slice of sourdough bread as an appetizer and one with dinner. Defiantly worth trying.
