This place was fantastic! The Alpastor meat was FULL of flavor. I wish I had gotten more of it. It’s worth paying the extra dollar for the super taco — the tortilla is amazing and the size is bigger. Totally recommend this place. I plan to come back and try the burrito. Tacos were great though.
My family and I love this place. Very authentic Mexican food I’ve gotten the combo plate twice now and it does not disappoint. The hand made tortillas are so good and are the perfect touch. The salsas are delicious as well. I highly recommend this place it’s clean a slight small. Everyone is really nice and accommodating. My husband loves the menudo and Claims it taste the same as my mother in laws, and is always extremely satisfied!
I love the vegetarian burrito! Rice, beans, avocados, lettuce, tomatoes and cheese (though I get it without the cheese). Yum!
This is the absolute best taco place in all of Provo. My wife and I come here at least once a week and eat at least 10 tacos between us. We love this place so much that we almost hope that it continues to be unknown to the majority of Provo so that it doesn’t get crowded/busy. The fact that I’m writing this review (and craving their tacos) in another restaurant at our new home on the east coast shows how good this place really is. Have yet to find a better taco.
For a family activity tonight we hopped in the car and "let fate decide" where we were going to eat. So we flipped a coin 20 times -heads right, tails left. On the last flip we drove straight until we ran into a place to eat. We ended up at this authentic Mexican restaurant. I'm so glad we did!
It's a very small mom and pop business. Don't be afraid of the small business front. The food was delicious! I will definitely be recommending it to all my friends and family.
The owner was very very grateful for our business. I'm so happy to spend our money here where our money means a lot more than it would at a chain like Costa Vida.
This place was fantastic! The moment I walked in I felt like I had returned to Mexico. The lady cooking brought back so many memories of good times and fantastic food! The combo plate was great and the hand made tortillas were soooo good! I'll definitely be going back.
I am an out-of-towner who Googled quote the best tacos in Provo on quote and found this place. I was hoping for a delightful experience. It started when I looked at the tacos on the menu board I ordered the Super Taco which was supposed to be crispy and have a lot of toppings in it according to the illustration I was excited thinking the tortilla was a handmade tortilla and the young server told me I would be getting shredded chicken. When are tacos came they were soft tacos with diced up chicken. No lettuce no tomatoes just the meat. I asked for lettuce and tomatoes, but maybe the language barrier prevented them from understanding my request. The tacos were not really that good unfortunately. And they were very very expensive. But comma it is a family-owned restaurant and I didn't have the heart to walk out
Favorite tacos in Provo for sure! I love the al pastor super taco and the tortillas are super fresh. Friendly service and a really cute family-owned place!
good place for tacos, very simple menu. tacos come with the meat alone on corn tortillas and there is a small salsa bar with some toppings. great salsa. try the nopal taco that is served on a prickly pear pad!
Get The eL Pastore or steak Quesadilla with avacado and a side of sour cream, Smother it with green salsa ,, and U 2 will know why they call it Taco Paradise!! There's lots of good Mexican food in town, however You're Only going to regret the fact that you didn't find this little Mom and pop shop sooner. Hardcore Home cooked Mexican goodness at its finest!! These are the best most authentic tacos you can ingest into your salivating mouth. After being married to Hispanic girl… no longer because she was crazy... nothing ever came close to what she made. At this point, it is the only thing I miss about her. Any way... Enough about my failed marriage. These are way better than those, and don't come with an a** kicking on the side. Both my six and four-year-old love this place. Completely and totally recommended. The only thing that might even be an issue is it can get slightly warm… But as you are eating the tacos you don't even notice.
The other delicious thing here is there homemade horchata. I don't know if I spelled that correctly, but spelling doesn't matter when it tastes that good.
Thank you Taco Pariso, for giving me deliciousness without a gash in my forehead!
I've been searching for an affordable authentic mexican burrito/taco place and I'm glad I found Taco Paraiso. There are other places similar but they charge more and their food isn't done quite the same. It's a small little place but the carne asada super burrito I had was tasty, the meat was cooked on a grill (instead of boiled or cooked in it's own water like some places), and the fresh salsas/taco bar ingredients were freshly made.
I would recommend this place. Next time I'll try their homemade corn tortilla taco (super taco I believe its called), a torta, or one of their bean burritos.
Get the Super Taco! It's a hand rolled corn tortilla and it's what keeps me happy in Provo town. Love the mom-and-pop vibe as well.
They have great handmade tortilla tacos, and my husband said the super burrito was good! They were really nice as well!
Seriously love this place. The meat is always high quality and flavored good. The corn quesadillas are the best.
Delicious! The steak burrito was awesome! The salsa was great. So glad we stopped in.
This place is amazing! Real authentic Mexican food! Small little place, chill and eat some great food! The owners and service is awesome!
