This place served good food. The house made pork rinds and green beans were top notch. The sliced beef was OK, was going for thickly sliced brisket - actually machine shaved beef (think Arby's, but better). Served with two BBQ sauces, one hot, one sweet.
It's not Porky's anymore. It's OTB (over the bridge). Opening night was a madhouse. American made was playing. They are always great.
It would have been much better if they had working fans in the ceiling. It was really hot. They also should have hired additional people to serve. The bar crew was fine, but the servers were too few. We waited almost an hour to place our first order. We didn't try to reorder any more.
I hope they fix this. They lost a lot of money with lost sales!

Love this place. We go for lunch at least once a month. They have the best wings and BBQ in Charlotte County. You can't beat the prices they also have 2 for 1 drinks 11-7. Night time is a young crowd.
I had a fantastic time here. Nancy, our server, was awesome. Made me feel at home and the food was without a doubt some of the best I've had in the area. Possibly one of the best burgers I've had in my life. If you are in the area DO NOT pass this place up. I'll be talking about this burger for years to come. Did I mention it's affordable? 3 huge burgers, 2 sides with each and drinks for right at $30. Do yourself a favor, EAT PORKY'S!
I never write reviews but this little gem is well worth it! Hidden off Harborview we stopped in And tried the burger and pulled pork. It was all cooked to perfection! For such a big place I am shocked it’s not any busier. The young girl Niki was absolutely wonderful. She told us about the specials. Told us about the bar next door. We will be back!!
Great Food...Great Staff...and Great Music. The owner is ALWAYS helping with the community. They are ALWAYS contributing to various causes by allowing their venue to be used to raise money and awareness to SO MANY different causes and charities. Hats Off to another awesome privately owned SMALL BUSINESS that is an ACTIVE MEMBER of their community!

I reserve 5 stars for the best of the best, so 4 stars is great.
If you're looking for fancy dining, this is not it. It's a roadhouse. If you want good food, Porky's is worth a try.
The grouper is not on the menu. I was told they are just trying new things to see what people want so they can make a new menu. So, to the food and service.
We were served by Alex (?) who is also the bartender and was wearing an elf jumpsuit. 👍 She was attentive even though, as far as I could tell, the only person serving. Drink order taken and our drinks were served in short order.
We were given menus. I asked about the grouper because I didn't see it. That's when we found out they were specials.
I had messaged Porky's earlier about getting a salad with grouper because my wife is on that diet where carbs are limited; no bread, no sugar, no ... you know. Not a problem. We will make sure you get what you want, and they did.
I had the grouper sandwich and my wife had a ceasar salad with grouper. Both were quite good. The grouper on the salad was grilled. The cook understood that no bread also means no breading for frying. Good job!
The cook checked with us twice to make sure we liked the food. Made sure we weren't just being nice to his feelings. Nope. It is really good.
So roadhouse atmosphere with good food. We like it and will go again.
Tried Porkys for the first time and let me tell you Best wings in town I must say and their homemade ranch is to die for. Had their fresh chips as a appetizer and those are amazing as well. The service is on point our drinks were never empty. We will be back to try the BBQ sandwich.
I love their food at Porky’s. I have never sat there to eat; I don’t smoke and the place was smoky. I usually order carry out for my family. It’s in my opinion the best wings and Bbq. I met the chef once and he was very friendly.
My husband and I stopped for lunch Thursday. The food was great and our service was wonderful. We will certainly be back. This is truly a hidden gem. This is at School House Square in the same area as Ollie’s. Well worth your visit. 👍
The restaurant has changed owners and the atmosphere is incredible. Great karaoke, great food, great people. Plus they are renovating the place!? Big things to come from the place formerly known as Porky's Roadhouse! Excited!😃😃😃
Went to see Mike Zito play at Porkys Roadhouse on February 18, 2017. Before the show the waitress offered us a drink and menu as soon as we found a table. This night it was find your own table. I don't know if this is a usual policy here. I'm ok with it. The waitress was great took our order and brought some of the best Honey BBQ Wings we have had. The show was fantastic!! The food and service was great! Can't wait for the next event at Porkys Roadhouse.
Just had the most amazing shrimp..not kidding, it's a new item for them, and it was so good. Lightly battered, so delicious!! Beers cold and Alex( behind the bar) is great!! Check it out, you won't be disappointed!!😎
