The Public House Diner - Quechee - Photo album

Unique dining experience in a diner car built in 1946. The food is fantastic, the buttermilk pancakes are an absolute must! There are also other cool attractions in close proximity; a carousel, small children’s roller coaster, alpacas, a blacksmith, antique mall etc. There’s also a flea/antique mark
Okay it’s only four cause I like good coffee and that just isn’t a thing in the USA but I have to fault for it. For the food. It’s always amazing. It’s big portions but you can’t ever say it wasn’t tasty. Food is delish. Like dammmmnnnn pictured is the loaded fries
Friendly staff and great breakfast items. Great atmosphere with an old-fashioned diner car.
Great local beer selection. Service was excellent as well. The burger and curly fries I had were excellent, though the salad my girlfriend had was mediocre at best. Service was excellent though.
Food was good in an old fashioned diner car built in 1946. Menu is mostly sandwiches, at least at lunch, so if you're looking for true diner food this might not be the place to go.
Good food, great service and such a cool place.
Funky diner, a short ride off I-89. We enjoyed a wonderful breakfast. Awesome pancakes. Perfect home fries, eggs and bacon. Smart, friendly server. I hope our travels take us this way again.
Stopped in for a late breakfast/early lunch. The corned beef hash was excellent. Also tried the tomato bisque and their version of an open face Reuben, which were also fresh and tasty. Service was very good.
This is the best diner I've ever been to and I'm from New Jersey. Don't believe some of the other negative reviews. I got the Korean Chic'wich. I thought it was going to be a club style sandwich, but it wasn't. Not the style of sandwich that I prefer, but still delicious.
Very good fresh food. Service was great, they helped me with my disability problems. Thanks for the breakfast sandwich. This is my first time in Vermont and I had trouble finding my way around in White River junction last night and this morning.
We had the gravy on fries and it was on of the best things I ever ate. Been twice with a party of 4 and everything has been delicious. Service is not lighting fast and I was long out of coffee before I got a refill, but we will keep coming back.
I was brought one of their Reuben sandwiches and found it to be delicious. So I had to go back with my wife and experience one fresh from the grill . Hands down the best Reuben sandwich we have ever had. Great service and great food! We highly recommend the Public House Dinner.
We arrived late but the staff was very helpful. We ordered our breakfast sandwiches to go as one person in our group had a small dog. The Portuguese muffins absolutely made the sandwich! So much tastier than an English muffin. The doughnuts they make are also delicious! We will definitely be back ag
Really good breakfast with blueberry pancakes and of course VT maple syrup. Retro dining area with lots of small shops near by. Service was kind of slow and our meals came out wrong, but they fixed it quickly.
