Best in the area!. My husband and I live in Austin,TX. We were in Quincy visiting family. We celebrated our 5th anniversary at The Main Course. It is very romantic. The service is excellent!!! Before we even walked in the door, we were greeted by someone opening the door for us. Everyone we came into contact with was helpful, respectful, and unpretentious.
Our server was Derek, fantastic job. Christopher brought the variety of salts to our table and took my coat. Both were very pleasant and kind.
The food was amazing. This is the best meal I have ever had in Quincy. We both ordered the steak dish, house salad,and had a total of three glasses if wine. The salads are perfectly sized so as not to fill you up before your meal. The steak was incredible! And only $30 each!
The owner, Kevin, comes by every table to chat and check on everything.
We will be back every time we visit Quincy!
A Most Memorable Meal. Last Thursday, after a day of sailing on Mark Twain Lake, I was invited by one of the crew to dine at the Maine Course. From the moment I walked in, I realized that i was going to experience a culinary delight not found in Quincy before The Maine Course opened their doors a few years ago. It is now going to be my go to establishment the next time I am in Quincy. The service was excellent. The food was perfectly and uniquely prepared. And the presentation was outstanding.
Adjectives. There are not adequate adjectives to describe the dining experience at the Maine Course, but, I will give you a few, outstanding, incredible, finest, service and quality. I have not had a better dining experience anywhere and I have spent 4 times as much for a meal and not experienced of this quality and quantity of food and outstanding service..
One of the best burgers I've ever eaten! Service is amazing. You know a place will be great, when the bread and butter make you drool! Bartender very knowledgeable and friendly
Gourmet food for you budget conscious folks as well as the best fresh seafood selections flown in daily. I personally do not eat fish, just watch the film Airplane to see why, but everything I have had on the menu was phenomenal. Inventive apps and the best risotto I've ever eaten make this masterpiece my go to haunt. Try the Turbo Dog beer floats!

We had the tasting menu which is chef's choice. Hands down. The absolute best meal I have ever had and I have traveled the world partaking in some amazing foods. Do not pass up this opportunity. Go. Right now. Look no further. This is your next dinner!

This was a surprising find on a recent trip to Quincy. Maine Course specializes in fresh ingredients, a constantly changing menu, and an unrivaled whisky/bourbon collection. The food was full of flavor and well composed, and paired well with their drink menu. Service was stellar. I'll definitely be coming back here on my next visit to Quincy. Definitely worth a trip.
The food was Phenomenal best mashed potatoes I have had in a long time. Try the tasting menu and let their chef guild you thru a tasty journey filled with fresh bread , in house kimchee chicken roll and much more.
Their service, atmosphere, and everything else is spectacular! I feel like I'm in a whole different town when I'm there, yet I feel like I'm at home at the same time. Thank you for being so great!
What a treat! Pork belly appetizer was mind blowing. The bread is exceptional. Bourbon options galore. Cocktails are well prepared - bartenders take their craft seriously. The duck confit salad was good but not on par with the pork belly and bread. Shrimp & Grits were solid - the shrimp were top quality but there was something missing in the grits. Service was attentive but friendly. Quincy is super fortunate to have the Main Course.
