First time I had pizza at Tony's was 1995 , I use to be their mail lady. I was in town this weekend and remembered how good the food and service use to be. OMG the old man Tony is very proud of you all. The pizza is still amazingly good. I had a regular pepperoni slice, it had so much cheese on it. I also tried the pepper steak slice I was very impressed. The flavoring really good and the crust was crunchy. I am a forever Tony's customer.
I have ordered their pan pizzas for over six months now. Not once have they ever disappointed. I love their Spinach Florentine pan pizza because it is creamy and delicious. They get very busy around peak hours (usually 4pm-7pm) so expect a long wait, BUT it is worth it! Parking can be tight but there is usually ample street parking right outside of the restaurant.
Ok seriously. I have never left a review for a pizza place. As a new Yorker born and bred I consider myself hard to please when it comes to pizza. To be fair it's not just about the pie, the people and how you're treated mean a lot too. Tony's cafe checked all the boxes. Phenomenal pie, the grandma pie is my favorite. Warm attentive people that make me feel at home. Thank you.
This is some seriously good pizza. I never thought I’d find a deep dish pizza that I would like but this is definitely it.
If you live in this area and you haven't tried them because of all the other pizza places around you are making a mistake. They have consistently good deep dish pizzas. These are the kinda pizzas where a slice is a full meal. Highly recommend their spinach Florentine. Super creamy and probably the only proper way to eat spinach. Another fav would be any of the fresh mozz and tomato variety deep dish. They get buzy but they don't sacrifice quality, and they haven't done me wrong once over years.
Great tasting pizza, the best that I’ve had in the Rahway/Clark area. Would highly recommend the Chicken Vodka sauce grandma pie.
Hands down the best pizzeria in Rahway. staff is respectful and easy to communicate Bruno and Leo are always around working and greeting costumers.their food never disappoints.
