An excellent new choice to eat. I believe right now they only have lunch and breakfast but what we had was delicious. My wife had bacon egg and cheese on an everything bagel and I had bacon egg and cheese on a croissant. I had the drip coffee which was delicious and my wife had a macchiato what she said was also excellent. They do not give free refills on the coffee which is my only knock. I'm very happy that they offer some healthy choices as well. There's also Wi-Fi and a printer if you want to go and do some work there during the day. There are a couple of couches and some nice chairs to sit on. Overall I am very happy and will be back.

Brand new location opening today for probably the best tasting coffee in Raleigh. Expanded space and still great tasting coffee.

The best place to get a coffee in the area hands down! Talked to their owner and he was super nice and helpful with picking out the right bean for my pour over. Bonus points for having cold brew towers and pour overs. Once the construction is all done this place will have that last star for atmosphere.

I came here for a quick sit down breakfast and it was really enjoyable! I got a breakfast sandwich and there are a lot of options. I also got a cold brew and it was so good! I like that their coffee is no frills. The service was also super good. Also, they have home brewed Thai tea and it's amazing!! Definitely recommend.

Such a great place to come sit and do work in! It’s cozy, and there a few different styles of solo, small group, and large group seating. They have printing available and great little cookies / drop cookies. Coffee was good. Great menu variety for drinks and food. Coffee accompaniments were sugar, simply syrup, and Splenda. First time visiting. Will be back! Ps: cafe closes at 3:30 so the kitchen closes at 3 PM.

Best decaf vanilla oatmilk latte I've had in a while. Oatmeal with bananas and nuts also very tasty. Nice atmosphere, comfy seating available, friendly staff.

Had a flat white and avocado toast with pepper flakes and balsamic, was absolutely fantastic. Loved their old location and they're adapting well to the new one.

Ordered a sausage egg and cheese on a croissant with tomato and maple bacon spread. Was pretty tasty. Place wasn’t anything exceptional but was a good place to work out of for a couple hours.

This is my go-to coffee shop in Raleigh. I drive out of my way, past several other coffee shops, to go here. Why? The owner is a coffee nerd and you get real coffee. He trains his baristas to be coffee nerds, so you get consistent quality. I've gone to other shops where your latte will be good if the owner is in, but it will be burnt or watery or some other issue otherwise. A barista at New World is a coffee expert and at other shops, sometimes the barista has only been trained to use the cash register. New World breakfast options are excellent - the build-your-own breakfast sandwich option is something that makes every member of my family happy. I've never recommended New World to anyone who didn't come back with rave reviews. I think the Durham location even has a slight edge for breakfast because they have a grill. But I still rate my preferred breakfast sandwich 5 stars in Raleigh. I love that it's simultaneously small business and low-key. Friendly people who will speak when you come in. Tables to hang out or a to-go station when you're in a rush. You can immediately tell and appreciate it's not a huge chain and that the owners give attention to both locations. But it's also one of the only places I could order online during Covid that wasn't Starbucks. I'm being overly picky to say I want the modern capabilities of a big chain without having to drink their coffee. I want a coffee I can choose and pay for at home and know it will be ready when I roll up. But, again, I want it to be good. So, New World it is, even 10 minutes in the wrong direction from my office. I know they are moving (the Raleigh location) down the street to the old Steak and Shake by the Duraleigh Library. I don't know if they'll have a drive through (that would be AWESOME!) but I do know they'll have more space and more seats. And it's so needed in that area where all you have are Starbucks and that new one where everything tastes like a frappucino with no coffee in it. I'm happy for their success because they've worked hard to earn it - they provide a quality product that is in short supply in the area, and that is always an excellent business model. I will continue to go frequently and support their success.

Great coffee!! So much better than Starbucks or Dunkin. Do yourself a favor and go here instead! The only reliably good coffee I have been able to find around this area. Love the atmosphere and the employees are always so friendly. A great place to read a book and sip some coffee. The food is great too, especially the vanilla parfait and the southwest black bean pasta salad!

We were on Glenwood doing some furniture shopping and were desperate for coffee. So I searched the area to see what was available with excellent reviews and this place popped up. We arrived at New World Cafe about 5 mins before closing and the young lady was so nice and answered all our questions with enthusiasm. She chatted with us while she was making our drinks and really made us feel welcomed, even though we were the only customers there and arrived right at closing, which would annoy most. We even learned she was from South Africa. We ordered a 24 oz. Iced Heath Mocha with oat milk and a 24 oz. iced Caramel Latte. That Heath Mocha was the best mocha I've ever had and that's saying a lot since I order them nearly every coffee shop we visit! I love toffee and anything made with toffee, so it was a no brainer for me to order the Heath mocha - combining two of my favorite things. My husband said his caramel latte was excellent as well. The roast was great, which was expected since they use Counter Culture coffee (roaster from Durham). I felt the price was worth it given the quality and size drink. We'll definitely return if we're back in the area again. I'll have to try their cold brew next time since I loved the setup they had showing it being made (Kyoto style). We live in Durham and have excellent coffee shops and local roasts, so we're fortunate to get great tasting coffee regularly. We've had the highest quality coffees in Kona and San Francisco (and have their roasted beans shipped to us regularly), so we're a bit of coffee snobs. Some people like fine wines, we love great coffee. Whenever we're in another city, we love to visit a local coffee shop to support small business and hopefully get a good brew. We're glad to have found a great espresso drink at New World Cafe and highly recommend it for other coffee snobs like us (or those who just like a good brew) :-)

I come here once a month. I like that there are non-dairy milk options. Be aware though that the traditional drinks that they have on the menu they will not add flavourings to. I wanted a hazelnut cappuccino which wasn't allowed so ended up ordering a cortado instead.

The quality of food is great, fresh! I ordered a protein açaí bowl. This is one of the few times I try an açaí dish, and I admit I wasn’t entirely pleased with my selection. I came to realize I’m not very fond of the berry mixture, but doubt thus was as a result of staff preparation. Everything else in the bowl tasted as expected and minimized the açaí flavor! 😊 I do have a suggestion- maybe include protein grams on the menu? I ordered this bowl especially because I understand the importance of incorporating this macronutrient in my diet. Anyway, the mango smoothie was out-of-this-world delicious, made with frozen natural mango and pineapple! A must try! My boyfriend wasn’t pleased with his BLT. He expected more than bacon and veggies in his sandwich (usually, a BLT indicates turkey or another meat in addition to bacon, lettuce and tomato), and pretty much remained hungry after his meal- which we both agreed wasn’t worth the price. I thought my bowl was a tad pricey as well for the quantity.

Wow how cute is this little coffee shop!! Super excited because it’s a min away from my house. This café is situated in a shopping center but it is located behind subway. You might have trouble finding it at first, but totally worth it. They have so many breakfast options like bagels with a variety of options/toppings, as well as açaí bowls! It’s super cute inside and they staff are very friendly. Latte with sugar free vanilla was perfect. Muffin was good! Will definitely be back many more times!!😀

First visit today and would definitely go more often if we lived a bit closer. Food was very good with surprisingly large portion sizes. However, it was the coffee that really surprised me; it's truly excellent, they really know what they are doing when it comes to coffee.
