The Service was exceptional from the Bartender and the Grilled Chicken Baked Potato was unreal! Nice atmosphere and decoration in the restaurant. Kind and polite service and the food and drinks came out very fast. Definitely recommend The Crabtree Ale House to any one traveling through Raleigh and make it out to Crabtree Valley Mall!

When you think Ale house do you think of gyros and Shawarma? Well you can now, this has been one of the best restaurant experiences we have had In a long time. The wait staff was amazing constantly cleaning tables and thoroughly, very friendly and attentive. The atmosphere was welcoming and not loud but warm and inviting especially for a family while still offering entertainment via multiple TVs with different options to watch.
Now the best part, the food! The smell when you enter is a sweet smoky aroma and prepares you for a multitude of delicious eat. The shrimp appetizer was perfectly season and the pizza was cooked in a brick fire oven and looked smelled and tasted amazing! I was however intrigued by the Mediterranean options at this place so ordered a Shawarma platter and it was perfection. It had great caramelization of the meat with wonderful seasoning and mixed veggies on top lettuce with hummus and pita for dipping. We are not locals to Raleigh but will definitely make a trip or two back just for this place.
Highly recommend for multiple menu options but you can tell they take pride in their craft and customer service!

We visited here on a Saturday afternoon. The benches are a little tight but the tables were fine. They had a variety of selection of beer. Make sure you try the cheerwine! We liked the mozzarella. The burgers were decently salty but was still good
This was so good I’m writing the review while I’m still in the restaurant. I had the southern burger and OMG that thing was awesome. My wife had a bake potato and it was amazing too. I haven’t had a burger that good in a long time. This is an easy one to recommend.

We went for my son’s 11th birthday. We had very attentive service . Drinks were filled twice , food came out fast and hot . We were asked by managers and staff how we were doing throughout the whole meal . We were told upon arrival that it would be a 20 minute wait - we were hesitant to stay and wait but manager came and told us to hold on and we’d be seated within 3 minutes. What a great place . (Potato bowls are way to much potato though , try adding more meat or smaller portion of potato with a small salad) . We will definitely be back !!! Thanks Y’all !!!☺️
Had a great time at this restaurant. We had a guys get together of 6. The waitress was very good and the food was tasty. Started with some wings for the table. I had the fish and chips but everyone else had a burger and said it was delicious! Would go back again in the future.

The wings were the best I've ever had. The mozzarella triangles were good, but you only get there, so not a great shareable for more than 4. My son loved the lamb burger, my husband and I weren't impressed with our burgers though. I would've been ok without it. Fries were also good, nice and crispy. I'd return anytime for those wings though, soooo good.
It was extremely loud though, so hard to carry on conversation unless you're yelling at each other.
The Hibiscus Cider is my new favorite and the Fish and Chips are the best I have had! My husband had a burger and that was delicious too. Great food, great service! Wish we were local to come back and explore more of the menu.
Every time I come here I get the same meal, grilled chicken, roasted veggies & mashed potatoes, and it is perfect! It hits the spot every single time! My friend had the burger and said it was amazing(they use fresh jalapeños, so just be ready for a kick if you get anything with them on it🥵) The service is always so nice and friendly! I love that it’s in the mall, I can do my shopping and stop by for a beer & dinner (:

TBH - My expectations were somewhat low before trying this place. I haven't heard any negative or positive so I do not know why I wasn't expecting much prior to trying. We ate here for a late lunch on Saturday after shopping in the mall. I wanted a place that was more than fast-food/food court type setting and this was it!
We went straight to the bar instead of getting a table just because this is our preferred place to sit in a restaurant of this style. The bartender greeted us immediately and offered us drinks and suggestions, if needed. My husband got a beer on draft and I got a moscow mule. The mule was somewhat sweet from the ginger beer but once you squeeze the lime, it was perfect. They also offer a lot of mule options at a reasonable price. They have plenty to choose from as far as drinks go. The food menu was a bit more limited than what I imagined their menu to consist of. I wasn't too hungry so I just order cheese sticks with ranch and my husband got the veggie wrap. WOW! The food was really, really good! The cheese sticks must be a super popular choice as I saw three other people get them at the bar while we were there. My husbands veggie wrap was super good as well. The temperature of the food was on point. I didn't need to use the bathroom while we were here but my husband did and said it was really clean (which is always a plus!)
Needless to say, we will be back when we are shopping at the mall. Also, the barstools are SO comfortable due to the larger seat area ;)
First time here but definitely won’t be the last! The Greek pizza was sooo, so good! The chicken baked potato was massive and so flavorful! We were very pleased with service and taste/quality of food!
Great burgers and beer selection. Sat in cozy patio area inside mall to avoid din of large group inside main seating area. Service was great.
One’s mind doesn’t usually go to “great pizza” when thinking of a place that ends in “Ale House”, but be prepared to be pleasantly surprised here. Our server was pleasant and attentive. Very extensive craft beer menu, along with a couple ciders as well! I would definitely come back should I find myself in the area again.
My husband and I stopped in for lunch yesterday. The service was excellent, Kacie made sure we had everything we needed, checked on us several times, and was friendly. The wings were soooo good. The breading on the fried mozzarella is different than I've had anywhere else, and I highly recommend trying it!
