Stopped by for a quick lunch with my wife and was pleasantly surprised by this place.
We were seated quickly and the food came out fast. I got a full sized banh mi and my wife got pad thai. Everything was delicious. We also got a boba tea to go.
I'll definitely be back to try some more of the menu.
Went for a early valentine's dinner with my wife. And had the hongkong rice, sweet and sour pork, and the beef pho!! All we can say is we found our new place!! Great service!! And the food was outstanding!!
I would be able to eat at this restaurant for a month and still never try the same thing twice and it would all be amazing. The servers are kind and really helpful with answering questions and explaining the menu. The restaurant is nice, clean, and open with ample seating and no wait times. The food is absolutely to die for, and I can easily see myself making this my go-to Asian restaurant! Go on Saturdays - they have "Happy Saturday" with $2.50 beers and buy 2 entrees get the third half off. A bargain!
Dalat is an exceptional oriental restaurant, we went there for the first time today and had the sweet and sour soup, spring rolls and chicken satay for appetizers, which were all fantastic! We had the beef Bahn Mi, which was the best we've had almost anywhere, huge and full of meat and grated veggies and cucumber. All in all, I'd rate them 6 stars if I could, truly a wonderful experience!
Third time here within alittle more than 1 week. Singapore is delicious and soft! Pad Thai was great, sweet and sour pork was delicious! Everything we tried so far was delicious! Will be back again in a few days. :D
Eight days ago, my friend and I went to Dalat for dinner, and I ordered the pho. The pho was very good. My friend ordered the banh mi, and he said it was delicious as well because the chicken was so moist and the bread itself had an amazing taste. We would definitely go again.
Great vegetarian options such as the vegetable pho (rare find!) and vegetable udon which were both delicious and hot. On top of that the prices are less than most anywhere else in Raleigh. Don't expect to get amazing service-it's a simple no fuss kind of place, which for the price and quality is nothing to complain about.
My 4th time since they opened a few months ago. Always consistently good and prepared the same every time. The general tso's chicken is the best in North Carolina. Charlotte has some rivals but this dish is best at Dalat. They are doing a buy 1 entree get 1 half off, dine in only. Not sure how long that will last.
I can't believe I went to Sushi 9 since moving to the NCSU area. This place is a great gem and do their Vietnamese very well. Portions are very good; you won't ever leave here hungry! I left Sushi 9 hungry after ordering their Pad See Ew and Pad Thai multiple times. Dalat's waitress is AWESOME. She's positive, attentive, and can wait 8+ full tables at lunch!
I've had their V19 and highly recommend it. Can't beat the price for the portions and generous spread of meats and veggies, either.
This is my favorite Vietnamese restaurant in the area and I love their pho. The restaurant is not fancy and in a strip mall by NC State next to the ABC store. You come in and you can pick where you want to sit. The owner runs a tight ship and keep her team of servers running. I love the staff and it is really a casual restaurant with flavorful food from all over. The menu is very extensive with Vietnamese, Thai and Chinese food options. The Deluxe Dalat rolls are a must and then I usually get the pho. It is steaming plate of flavorful soup with fresh basil and cilantro. The Banh Mi is also very good as well as the Vermicelli with chicken. You pay at the cash register and the food here is simply delicious.
I can't say enough good things about this place! Definitely the best food in Raleigh. Once you eat there you will be obsessed. Try the "Three Curries" and the "Coconut Soup"… my son says try the "Summer Rolls"… but seriously, its all GREAT! Darn… Now I'm craving it again. :)
One of the better places to get Vietnamese food in the area. I usually get the chicken vermicelli, the use white meat in the stir-fry version of their's unlike some restaurants. The chicken-vegetable sandwich is very good and filling even as the 6 inch portion. They definitely have the best summer rolls I have had in the area.
The Pho is great. The spring rolls are the best I've ever had. The Thai noodle dishes are excellent and enough for two meals. This is a great restaurant.
