I tasted one of my kids' doughnuts (parent tax) and it was amazing.
I’d never heard of Burney’s but was brought a box of goodies and a lemon bar yesterday and goodness is it delicious! The croissants are amazing and that lemon bar is PHENOMENAL! Go get you some Burney’s!
Picked up some sweet snacks before hiking for my YouTube channel "Beyond the Pavement". I was looking for donuts but ended up buying these crazy, delicious croissant looking things. I was very satisfied with what I got. They also have coffee and ice cream which is always a plus. Friendly staff. Clean establishment. I'll be back
Burney's is a hidden gem. Hidden because the shopping center where they are located is a ghost town since Stein Mart closed. Located at Falls of Nuese and Old Wake Forest they are worth the effort to find. While we haven't tried everything they offer, what we have, has been outstanding. The glazed croissants are great plain but are even better when stuffed with one of their homemade fillings. And the eclairs, absolutely awesome. The best ever. Forget all the other pastry places, go to Burney's for the best experience of your life.
Love the glazed croissants! And you can order them with a choice of fillings. It's a good thing they don't have a "hot" sign, or people would get hurt. Everything else looked great, and good prices too.
Bought some cookies, they were good. Was not happy with the paying experience. I bought 6 cookies & 1 chocolate decoration for 20 dollars. Went to pay and was given a screen on how much to tip with the minimum amount being 15%. I simply asked for 6 cookies, I don't see why I am being presented with a big screen asking how much I am going to tip.
Since the worker was staring at me I felt too awkward to put "no tip" so entered a custom amount of $2. I don't think there should be so much pressure to tip to pick up a small order of treats. Not going back.
Beautiful look. So many desserts and variations that you just have to buy something and when I say something I mean multiple things. The macaroons are flavorful especially their mango passion fruit. The s'mores hot coco cake tasted straight off of the campfire. The triple chocolate mousse cake had an awesome balance of creamy and chocolate. The doughnuts were fluffy and wonderful, not too much dough to filling. This was delightful and you should definitely try this place.
A hidden gem. The mini glazed and stuffed croissants are delicious. I have not tried any of their other items but If the other beautifully displayed desserts are anything like the croissants, I’m sure they are just as great. A few of Burney’s mini glazed croissants and a cup of coffee makes for the perfect day!

I've experienced the taste of Burney's items but never personally went in until yesterday.
It's a nice small site. When you walk in, the smell of pure happiness floods your heart. I had no idea the variety of desserts that are available. I was in awe.
The sweet crossiants are the best delights. Small or large. They stayed true to the lightness of a crossiant, but they elevated the taste with sweet goodness. Filled or not filled, they are great. My family and I enjoyed a variety box.... glazed, lemon filled, raspberry, creme cheese, and one topped with bacon. WOW!!! The list goes on and on. If they only have plain the display case, they will fill it with what you'd like. That was sweet.
The name is BURNEY'S SWEETS & MORE. Yes!!! Yes!!!! Yes!!!! There are a lot of choices. They also have ice. Haven't tried it, but it's available.
It is a hidden gem that my family and I have shared with numerous friends, and when family comes to town, it is one of our favorite things to share.

Warning. If you're on any kind of weight loss journey, plan etc. Please don't visit this establishment. The filled croissants are from heaven. This place is the best sweet shop in Raleigh and extremely addictive!
Unbelievably delicious. My first time trying since I live a bit away but I will gladly make the drive because it’s my new obsession :)
So many sweets to choose from! All look gorgeous and delicious 🤤! My group had a variety and all were so wonderfully tasty. Service was swift and so helpful👏. Highly recommend.
From the first contact to last, customer service was great. We gave Gabby our cake idea, and she did an excellent job of decorating the cake exactly how my daughter wanted for her Sweet 16. The cake tasted delicious. Thank you for making my daughter happy!
This is the most interesting and diverse dessert bakery in the triangle that I have been to. Croissants and different types of donuts all with various fillings available. Cakes, cupcakes, and other more dense desserts fill other pastry cases. Did I mention that they have fresh ice cream from a local NC farm? There’s so much variety, and they have a set of stuffed croissants that rotate out every month and a set that rotate out every week. I will definitely be back the next time I’m in the area.
Burnet’s is famous for their filled croissants. Absolutely delicious! We always purchase a couple of dozen for special events! 😃 just wish they would ditch the mask 😷 requirement .
Guys I got a bit of everything. From cookies, eclairs, cupcakes, and filled croissants...it was spectacular!!! I will definitely grab more croissants and various flavors on my next visit. It was like tasting a deliciously filled cloud because the croissant was sooo soft!
We visited for the first time and the Bavarian cream croissant is simply amazing! The staff was so friendly and helped us pick out some amazing treats that they are famous for.
After the suggestion from my manager during one of our team meetings (we talk about food a lot, hahahaha!) he mentioned a recent trip to Burney's. Well it took me a minute to get over here, but it did not disappoint! Croissants for days in all flavors and fillings... the cinnamon roll was magical. I am super excited to try more! Cake will absolutely be next...it almost was this morning 🤣 If you haven't been... go... NOW!!!🤣😁
