I love the food, ambience. Try the honey vanilla latte, best coffee in my opinion. Great service, i always head to the yellow vase on western because its not as busy and service is fast.
Love this place! Nice, relaxing, cozy ambiance with great, old-timely music. Like a classic Parisian cafe.
Food is great - feels like comfort food, but without the greasiness that usually implies. It's healthy (unless you treat yourself to something from the bakery, which you should), and both familiar and interesting at once.
Highly recommended!
The food here is AMAZING. It's fresh and it doesn't fill you up in an overwhelming way like fast/junk food does. It's quiet and simple inside.. and service is fast and friendly. I don't really find the decor to be to my taste but it isn't distracting to my experience. I recommend this restaurant to anyone who lives in the area.. better than eating at ihop!
As far as the ambience goes the place is on point, charming southern style with a class and appeal that will have your head turning continuously observing the decor. The only thing that kept me from giving it 5 stars was although the food was good your not offered a lot of food meaning there aren't any sides offered, if there is a sandwich and you order it that is all you get no fries or salad or soup or chips. Don't mean to nit pick the food was good just would be nice to be offered some sides.
I have always loved this place. I loved the first one in Redondo and I love the one in PV and I love this one as well. The food is fantastic and I always have extra to take home. The coffee and the espresso drinks are wonderful. The pastries are insanely good. And there is something about the crazy yellow interior and all the crazy tchotchkes that make me happy. It's like hanging out at your crazy old aunt's house for tea. I hope it stays in business and I try to go there at least once a week to do my part!
I love everything about the Yellow Vase...they've created the perfectly quaint atmosphere happily enjoy delicious eats (with perfect background music) & a genuinely friendly, smiling staff. The Monte Cristo is the best I've had, and the chicken in the Cesar salad is cooked to "fork cutting" perfection! I haven't tried anything I didn't care for. They also have a nice selection of delicious pastries.
The one on Western has a great parking lot with beautiful trees . I think it has a small patio. Monte Cristo sandwich or 2by 2 are my favorites.
An extraordinary lovely hidden gem! Very tasty food and pastries are a must here! Lovely staff and excellent service.
