OMG!!!! If you enjoy great food you have GOT to visit Jambonz! The food is like non-other & is out of this world! Authentic Louisiana grub in the heart of Rapid City-I don't know how we have lived without it! And the service....top notch!
This is a relaxed environment w great music playing, huge portions of food & I promise you will not be disappointed!
Jambonz is THE authentic New Orleans restraunt you're gonna have to visit in the north. The service is quick and the food tastes amazing. They're is truly something for everyone to try there, even quite a few dessert options too. They have around 10 ice cream flavors, 14 beers on tap, and a full liquor bar. They have a wheelchair accessible entrance and a large array of seating. Their bathrooms are very clean, as is the rest of the restraunt, the decor is exciting and really puts you in the mood for some New Orleans spice. This place is great for any occasion, whether you're single, going in a date, a full family, or celebrating your birthday! All around a great place with friendly staff and great vibes :) hope you all have an amazing day!
Love the authentic cajun food and atmosphere!! Great service as well! My husband and I went on a Saturday night and they had wonderful live music playing! We went to New Orleans for our honeymoon so it’s always fun dining here for date nights. It’s so nice to have fun, cool, and authentic restaurants like this one in Rapid City! Makes you feel like you’re in New Orleans for a little while. 😉 🦐🐊
Fantastic! My husband loves the catfish and he’s picky. We’ve never ever had a bad meal! Wow! All the staff so friendly especially Sharon. Best place to eat in Rapid City SD hands down. We keep going back every week or so for more. 5 ⭐️ restaurant and 10 ⭐️ on the staff.
Jambonz has great food. I had the Soul Food Platter and thought it might be more food than I could eat, but I proved myself wrong. It was all delicious and I decided I needed to join the "clean plate club". There was a catfish filet, some rib bones, gumbo, red beans and rice among other dishes. It was a busy night, and our waitress was working hard. She was attentive but not overbearing. The staff all seems friendly. The space can be a little noisy, but certainly not too bad. It does have a little Louisiana feel to it, which is rare considering it's in South Dakota.
Took forever to get seated (I think they were short-staffed) but it was worth the wait! The food was delicious. I had the muffaletta with greens and it tasted so authentic. I am happy that Rapid City finally has some cajun food representation 😁
