Some of the best food in the area, lovely views of the river (and often local wildlife), and top quality service would have been plenty to justify at least four stars. The owner and her staff are some of the friendliest people you could ever hope to meet, and they have always gone above and beyond to make guests feel right at home. Can’t stress enough how every interaction I’ve had with the folks working here has been beyond pleasant and welcoming. Hospitality at its best.
It's my go-to place when I'm home. Coffee is always on, hot, and yummy. The company is exceptional and the view.....to die for!!!

The moment you walk in the door you are met with a 'barage' of warm, friendly atmosphere. The owner-manager is a down home person who will make a guest appearance if requested. If you are carrying a heavy load Ameilla can relate in heart felt understanding, In most cases she has experience of been there, done that.

The restaurant would probably be out of steaks much earlier.
Our church recently had a planning meeting there for brunch and it worked out great. Gathered in one section, we were able to converse about plans and hopefully did not interrupt the other patrons. The lunch service was good and we left full of coffee.
Haven't been there in over 20 years, just went the other say with my father... good food, prices, and portions!!! We will be back!!!
Definitely 5 stars for the feeling that I was eating at grandma's house. The waitress was very friendly, joked around with us. This is the place that seniors come for their brunch and coffee. And BTW I had a burger and it was good. We enjoyed our meal and plan to return.
Delicious food and great people. Take time to stop in on your way to the beaches. The owner and server will treat you like a local while you enjoy the comfort food served here. Enjoy the view, and if you're lucky enough, you might get to see some wildlife like otters while eating.
Excellent burgers. Amelia's potato salad in THE BEST. Has a beautiful view, and the dining room is set up so elegantly.

Excellent top service wonderful girls wonderful restaurant because of the girls that door of the waitresses were so sweet the food was so good I love this place and you're right on the bay so you can see all the critters in the water and it is fun I love it and not expensive is a good place to go out and eat and enjoy your time and doesn't cost you an arm and a leg and the food is excellent I highly recommend the barge for a good night out
The owner deserves a medal for all she is doing to keep her restaurant going during the pandemic! She greeted us, took our order, cooked our food, added everything we needed to eat in our car, and even brought it out to the parking lot... all on her own! The parking lot view was beautiful at high tide as we watched an eagle search for lunch, too. Hope your staff feel better and safe soon.
