had a lovely 1-night stat at the Inn. Initially I messed up the booking, but Patti was incredibly accommodating. The house is lovely, quaint, and quiet. We had a great sleep and loved that the kitchen was in our room to do some basic stuff. Highly recommend on all fronts.
Just the cutest place. Exceeded all expectations. Historical old building but was in great shape. Very nicely appointed rooms. Breakfast was delicious and you could tell was put together with some TLC. The kitchen in the suite really helped me put together a charcuterie spread and make drinks and keep leftovers fresh. We came up for Valentines day weekend and explored the closeby towns of Rheinbeck and Tivoli. Very friendly Innkeeper 'Patti'. We will be back :)

Patti, the inn keeper, is very accommodating. The inn is very special to me as I have been coming to the Hudson River Valley my whole life. The breakfast could be improved with the addition of some smoked salmon or a breakfast bowl with squash or buckwheat with chicken and arugula (written by a baby boomer, a hunter-gatherer who does not thrive on too many carbohydrates). Egg equals 6 grams of protein. Not enough. I'm just saying...
My husband and I at the last minute had to stay in New York for the night. We googled local places to stay near Copake. When the owner spoke to us she was like our long lost Aunt that we haven’t seen or spoke to in years. She was so so so nice, down to earth, warm, inviting, informative, caring and all the things you could hope for in a human being. My husband and I felt confident in our decision to stay overnight especially after speaking to her. We drove the 5 1/2 hours and arrived at midnight. When arrived, the inn was so lovely. From the cozy interior to the well kept and clean room with the most incredibly soft bed and sheets to the amazing shower head and pressure we were so in love with this place! We wished we could have arrived sooner just to enjoy it longer. In the morning there was fresh bread, hot coffee, and right at home kitchen to help yourself . If we ever find ourselves needing to stay at another place in this part of New York there is no question it will be this place. We are happy to have stumbled upon it and to have had such a great conversation with the owner. You will not regret your stay! It is literally a home away from home.
We recently rented the entire Inn for the weekend of our son's wedding, however it was our third time staying. The Innkeeper, Patty is welcoming and very personalble. Our family stay felt as if we had a second home.
Lovely place, wonderful staff, comfortable rooms. The owner is very concerned about sanitizing, which put us at ease right away. All breakfast items are grab n go and individually wrapped.
Please note: the town of Pine Plains and surroundings have very spotty cell service (T-Mobile). I *believe* AT&T is better, but it's not ubiquitous.
Such a pleasant experience!! Clean rooms, lots of free books, movies, board games. Good selection of breakfast items. Felt homey and safe. Walking distance to a few dining options
My husband and I spent a lovely evening at the Inn at Pine Plains. Patti is a terrific innkeeper; very attentive to every need, so personable, and a perfect hostess. The room was clean, comfortable, and we enjoyed a terrific night's rest. We will be back!
