It has been awhile since I had Indian food, and we have lots of great places in Vancouver and Surrey up North. Very flavorful dishes. Only warning for casual or non spicy eaters is that the mild is still pretty spicy.

The food was the best part. We ordered a few different appetizer and couple curries. Dahi balla chat was a favorite. The yogurt with the sweet and tangy chutnies was really delicious. Service was inconsistent because of how busy they were. But then again we were there on a Friday night. Highly recommend reserving a table ahead of time.

A great restaurant for north indian food. Today we tried the following - paneer karahi, kadhi pakora, egg biryani, garlic naan, tandoori roti, egg biryani and moong daal halwa. All the dishes were delicious and would highly recommend trying them out. If you like spicy food you can go a bit higher on the spice level.

Update: Went again next day and had a veggie special thali. It had A paneer with Sweet gravy, Dal makhani, and green pea curry along with other stuff same as non-veg thali (Samosa, Gulab Jamun, Naan and Rice). Also found out menu changes daily so thats a plus for daily meals. I got a lunch thali offer for 10% off. I went around 12:30 pm and it was crowded. As i was solo I was offered seat at the bar table. It was comfortable and worked for me. The non-veg thali is 20 usd + taxes. It came with Samosa, 2 Non-veg Curries, daal, naan, rice and a dessert (gulab jamun). The food was tasty and curries were different.
