When I walked up to the counter, the older of the 2 guys went in the back asking the younger to attend the front. The younger man didn't seem to know how to work the register. The older of the 2 came back from the back, and he was very friendly. I ordered the fried oyster po boy, and a small fries .The fried oyster po boy was made with a Kaiser like bread. The bread was hard, but I wasn't going to eat it anyway. There were 5-6 fried oysters and they were very good. It is a bit expensive for 5-6 oysters, $12. The fries were good, too. I had my 2 little dogs with me, and the man was so thoughtful. He put the po boy in a container, and then in a bag. He left the fries out so that I can add seasoning to them he told me about the different seasonings and mentioned that the fries already have a little bit of salt on them. After I sprinkled some Old Bay on the fries, he put the box of fries in the plastic bag with the po boy. He made it so convenient for me to carry my food to the car while I walk my 2 pups. I really appreciate the nice and thoughtful gesture. Oh, I like the Tip bucket. It's funny... I'm expecting good karma to come my way. 😁
Went there for happy hour, happy hour menu was wonderful . Fish & chips, coconut shrimp we're great, loved the dipping sauce, sweet with a kick.
The staff was fabulous!
Best of all the owner stop by to introduce himself & to find out how we liked our appetizer. So nice of him!!!
Atmosphere was wonderful along with the entertainment. Yes we will definitely be back soon to try thoes delicious entrees!!
They were short one server tonight, and extremely busy, but they were RUNNING to keep everyone satisfied. The Cosmo and Margarita I had were VERY good. Also, the fried green tomatoes and lobster mac was yummy! My husband loved his chicken and tomato basic soup. Terrific service and great food!
my 6 sons and i went to shrimpys last week for some grub. i was peeping the menu and all of a sudden i saw “$13 fried avocado” so obviously i was like, STEAL!!! i immediately requested 5 and they were the best grub i’ve ever had. My sons were so satisfied that they were filled for 12 hours. 10/10 recommend.
Delicious food. Menu options include main entrees as well as sandwiches. Happy hour applies in bar area as well as restaurant. We had tacos and crab cake sandwich. Both were yummy. Service was great. We will be back.
GREAT! Friendly service ,big portions of food for your money. My experience all together was good. People sometimes are angry and give bad reviews just because of there day they are having and don't understand that their reviews go against small local businesses and hurts them. These people need there jobs and good reviews so think before you type people. Have a heart.
Not sure about anything else, but.. BEST FUNNEL CAKE. Yum!!!! Especially when you eat while it’s hot. I crave it when they close during cool season. It’s better than funnel cake factory around the corner. So much better cake here!
Not gonna lie, shrimpys is the absolute without question wave for you and your little ones. On binks the best grub grub in the whole beth area. Nothing in the community can compete. This is the most under appreciated shop on the whole east coast!! Not to mention they have the softest napkins in the game, FOR FREE!! Please fade
