I love German cuisine! I'm so grateful to have found this wonderful restaurant. The food is delicious, the atmosphere is friendly, and the place is exceptional clean.
I consider myself a schnitzel expert. The schnitzel served at the Village Haus is as good as my grandmother's.
I'll definitely be back soon! Unfortunately, I'm only in PA once a month. If I lived here, this would be my weekly "go to" place.

So my wife found this lovely place while we were visiting family. The food and service was amazing and the restaurant is right in the middle of a lovely little village. With shops and beautiful architecture. We started with a few drinks and a the fried calamari. I got a te as burger and my wife got a super delicious steak, im happy ahe couldnt finish it. Lol. And After we ate our delicious meals we walked around and ended up buying from this little antique shop. Great place to visit can't wait to go back.
This is a hidden gem that you have to access through a neighborhood. The hot german potato salad reminded me of my Grandma's (amazing). The chicken salad sandwich was so tasty with bacon on toast. I don't know where to start on how delicious the french onion soup was but wow! Our waiter Sean was so friendly and accomodating, not to mention the awesome little Bavarian looking village the restaurant is in. I highly recommend taking a day trip and exploring everything around this little town.
Beautiful beautiful atmosphere! The food was delicious! I honestly didn’t think it was going to be that good lol! My husband and I got 2 drinks each, app and two meals. We paid $60 very affordable and delicious!
We had dinner and lunch here during our stay in Adamstown. Awesome food, great service, and has local vibes. The baked tomato soup was really good, so was the apple strudel.

Service a little slow but staff is friendly and food is good. Not too busy or empty. Place is clean and drinks are good. Price isn’t too bad either
We stopped here for lunch after a morning of antiquing. It was pretty good. We were warned that there would be a wait. There was, not too bad. We both ordered the battered flounder wrap with old bay fries from the specials menu. It was only $11 and was very tasty. I would be willing to go back here again. The server was polite and friendly and there was even live music.
Wow, a great hidden treasure in the middle of a themed loving community. Nice beer selection and huge food selection, not just German food, with specials. The German food selections are authentic and really well prepared. Try the hot German potato salad and the pretzels.
They outdoor seating offers great scenic views of the main square.
The wait service was prompt and polite.
We had a hard time finding this place but were well rewarded for our efforts. The music was way too loud for a family dinner but the staff was friendly and helpful and the food was amazing! Would definitely recommend this place.
Laid back restaurant bar atmosphere. There was live music outside today, so there were many servers on hand. Our waitress was awesome... smiling, friendly, patient, attentive, and knowledgeable. Food was tasty, and we definitely left with full bellies. Would visit here again if in the area.
The people here are just amazing. They all work very hard to make your dining experience great. The food is delicious, We are addicted to their fresh cut fries.
10/10 would recommend. Never been here before, but we stopped while driving by. It was almost lunch on a sunday (11:45 ish) and the place was not busy at all. The waitress was nice, friendly, and thorough. The food also came out really fast after we ordered. We probably waited maybe 10-15 mins. We had some coffee, the Island Style Cheesesteak, onion rings, and a slice of Toasted Almond Cake. Everything was very very good. I dont even like cheesesteaks, and i liked this one. Onion rings were crunchy and yummy. The cake was also good, even though i much prefer chocolate desserts. We sat outside, and it was honestly quite nice. Lovely weather, and the open are in the middle makes it feel open and roomy. You certainly do not feel like you are on a main road.
Sat outside, gorgeous setting!! Loved the band ... weren't planning on music, but loved it!!! Always get pretzel bites and tangueray & tonics and just enjoy great the ambiance!!!
Too cool in side music to loud people had to talk over it but food was good.
Great place to stop in and grab some lunch. Haven't been in the area for dinner. But the lunch was great. Wings 👌 and I gotnthe cheeseburger which was also perfect. Very happy we stopped for lunch here. Will dine here again.
