I had never been to a vegan, vegetarian, restaurant exclusively but was pleasantly surprised. They made it easy for newbies as they served only one vegan meal and one vegetarian meal, seconds welcomed. The menu changes daily as they depend on what local ingredients are available. A very unique concept. It works well!
Amazing food and great people. We loved the intimate atmosphere with locally sourced food. One Thali was enough to fill me up! Our 9 year old son loved everything and even finished his plate which is rare. Definitely recommend this hole in the wall, definitely needs more praise!
Lovely. Fabulous meal. The pickled onion was to die for. The staff was delightful. The food fantastic, an adventure for the senses. Eager to share a meal here again soon with more family and friends. A perfect meal to end 2016.
Ate there last night. Great vegan food. Not too spicy. Food looked, smelled and tasted delicious. I ordered by the plate but you can order all you can eat. I will go there again.

Thali is a restaurant where each dish is prepared consciously and with consideration for each step in the process, from how and where the food is sourced to its preparation and presentation. The care put into the food and the atmosphere it creates makes for an extraordinary experience. So thankful to everyone involved in bringing this to Reno.
We took the whole family to dinner at Thali on Friday night. Everything was delicious! This is definitely my new favorite for Indian in Reno and also easily the best vegetarian around. I especially loved the somewhat sweet and spicy carrot masala dish, and I really want to figure out how to make there mint chutney because I could eat that on everything. I wish they sold jars of it to take home! The kids even found a lot to like, and they aren't particularly adventurous eaters. We will be coming back soon.
Healthy, organic and immensely tasty! Locally sourced organic vegetables, all you can eat vegetarian or vegan dinner. Open 5 PM to 9 PM only. Each bite is flavorful, and not too spicy, and all items made on site, lovingly by Mom! If you are in Reno area, this is an absolute NO MISS restaurant. The menu changes every day, depending on the ingredients available for that day.
Best Indian food ever in the US. We happened to visit this place while driving thru Reno. Team Thali- thank you, it was a wonderful experience dining at your restaurant. Great food, great service, great people!

It takes gumption, creativity and drive to make an idea come to life, and this is exactly what Thali achieves. The risk and hard work associated with creating a successful popup is insurmountable, yet, while dining at Thali, it seems that this place has been here for years prior to it's short stint on the scene. The attention to detail on all fronts is what makes this experience superior to your run of the mill Indian restaurant. These people are pouring their heart and soul, not only into the dishes being served, but the atmosphere that has been created. It is a shame that sometimes in order to create something amazing, the attention to detail has to come from a place that is more hobby oriented than business oriented. I believe, because Thali is more of a hobby with a business on the side, that this is one of the more special experiences being offered over a dining room table.

There are very delicious things happening here. As a Punjabi girl I was raised on eating this type of food on a regular basis, I was completely blown away with how wonderful this food is. The fact that they are using all organic produce that is grown locally shows how much love they put into this meal. Don't be skeptical like me, just jump into the pool of deliciousness. :D

Food was delicious and well priced (the plate has free refills on entrees). Very kind and attentive customer service as well. This restaurant is completely vegetarian and offers vegan options as well. I'm really indecisive so I appreciate that they have the plate entrees picked for the day. Unique and delicious experience!
The food was really good and well made. Did not feel like unhealthy Resturant food with lot of oil.

Thali was delicious!! Their roti is the best!!! The food was perfectly spiced and so delicious. I am vegan so I didn't try it but neither my daughter or husband were a fan of the sweet lassi. The location is awesome and it is in the same area as another vegan place(nom foods?) and a pizza place so their is something for everyone!!

A rare treat! Anyone who loves plant based food will like this place! I love the daal, spicy bell pepper soup and peanut butter fudge dessert. They were sold out of the turmeric vegan milk but it’s a delicious quaint place to eat!
A unique find in Reno: an Indian vegetarian concept without a menu, with a daily fixed menu of refreshing vegetable dishes and sides of tumeric rice and roti. The acidity and seasoning were perfect for us, and portioned well. We got the AYCE option and the staff even walked to our table to offer refills of each dish. Love it!
I love Thali’s! It’s one of my favorite spots to eat in Reno. The service is super welcoming, serge and his family are so sweet and attentive. The food is always amazing and it’s basically all you can eat. I always recommend it to all my friends, we’ll be back soon!
