The wondrous aromas of this dining experience, combined with the outstanding food, the knowledgeable and solicitous wait-staff and the measured pace of preparing and consuming the meal - made this one of the best dining experiences of my life.
Great fondue, helpful and attentive wait staff, and relaxed atmosphere. Where else do they encourage you to spend 2-3 hours enjoying dinner? We did the 4-course experience and it was more than we could finish. Great experience!
Traditionally we celebrate birthday and pre-Christmas there. The food is great, the wait staff outstanding and the atmosphere perfect. We will continue to come at least twice a year

Samantha was awesome!!! She was attentive and patient with our vegetarian diet and my gluten allergy... i hate going out to eat sometimes because i know its annoying but she acting like it was no big deal which i appreciated very much !!!!
They are always really good! The last time I went, the waitress could’ve been more enjoyable like my prior experiences there. But the portions are bigger here than other locations I’ve been to! That’s a biggg plus 🙌🏽
Dined at the bar for some sibling time with my brother and enjoyed the Fiesta Cheese and the new Hot Honey Alpine Cheese. Tommy was our server/bartender and he was very attentive and made me his delicious (but dangerous) Love Potion with Malibu Rum garnished with a sugar rim and the new Espresso Martini. Also got to enjoy some dinner and chocolate as well. My brother enjoyed the new Brown Sugar Bourbon Rub Steak that is now in the Steak Lovers entree. Everything was delicious and will definitely be back!

I was here about a week ago with friends and family and it was awesome!! Everything tasted so good! The portions were just right! We ended up deciding on getting the four course. So we had cheese, salad, meat, and dessert! If you are ordering for more than one person you do have to go with the same cheese, broth, and chocolate! The salad you can choose for yourself! While the broth does have to be the same, you can choose different meats from everyone else!
You also do not have to go specifically for the four courses like we did. You can get items separately! So if you're just looking for dinner and dessert you can do that too!
The atmosphere is moody and the perfect spot for couples! Of course this is family friendly as well! You can dress fancy or casual! So really fits for any event!
Our waitress was super sweet and willing to help answer questions as well!
Everything was brought to us with prompt timing between meals. We isn't feel like we were rushed to finish our food, and we weren't waiting forever for the next round!

Oscar was our waiter, and he was perfect! Everything about our visit on Dec 12 was wonderful! We came as a large group, everything was explained as we went from raw veggies and cheese, salads, drinks, main course, and of course the dessert! And Champagne!

Had a wonderful experience at this super clean, friendly and above and beyond staff of this location! We have had the privilege of having Sneha as our server both tonight and last month! The manager Leah is super helpful and a nice addition to how great the service is from Sneha! It's a great and pleasurable time every time we come ! Thanks for caring for us so well!
This restaurant was very unique experience for us. Had been on our list for a while and finally we visited and it turned out be a very good one. We tried Cheese Fondue, Salads and Entrees. All three tasted real good. We would definitely visit the restaurant once again as we missed eating the chocolate fondue , as we were full by eating the 3 items on the menu. Not to forget about the waitress. She was amazing and took care of us very politely and helped us with the menu very carefully as I mentioned we visited this place first time.
Overall a good experience with food, ambiance and service.
I had a fantastic time! I sat at the bar and the bartender Tish was kind and friendly. The meat was juicy and had good flavor. It was a lot of food for me but I’m excited about my now lunch for tomorrow! :)
The Melting pot has always been a go to destination for family celebrations and this week was no exception to celebrate our wedding anniversary on 11/29. The Reston Melting pot has always been our favorite. The staff is warm and friendly and our server Tish is one of the best. We asked for her by name because we knew the service would be great. We usually get the multi course meal, Big Night Out, because it offers 4 courses. Tish was very helpful and attentive to our meal and the timing of each course was right on track. The food was high quality and we always enjoy trying new cheeses and indulge in the chocolate fondue finale with all the dipping options. For our anniversary we planned the rose petals, candles and covered strawberries along with 1/2 price wine Wednesday. We were totally pleased with Tisha’s service and commend the management staff that checked on us through the night.
Came to the melting pot for my birthday dinner. Iv never been before but for the first time I was blown away! Everything was delicious and Sean was amazing! Definitely asking for him any time I come in! Thank you for a wonderfully experience

Our of our favorite date spots! The price has increased over the years but it's still a great experience and they have improved a lot. We always get the four course experience and everything is delicious. Service is also great!
They have good covid procedures in place. All staff wears gloves and masks. We cook the food ourselves so no changes there. Tables are sectioned off to maintain distancing. Honestly not much is different than precovid experience, I would say it's even better. The bill is paid with a portable reader so no need to wait around for them to take your card away.
The meat portion comes with a small sheet that tells you the cooking times as well as a description of all the sauces, which is extremely helpful.
Don't be afraid to ask for more veggies, they are unlimited and complimentary. We love getting extra broccoli and mushrooms as they soak up the broth flavor. They now have the small white potatoes instead of the big ones so it cooks much faster and absorbs flavor.
Same goes for the chocolate fondue, ask for more if you want extra! Bananas are our favorite to dip.
Really good experience, our waiter was fantastic. Only suggestion is the croutons were store bought, paying $120 for dinner of two I would think they made the croutons in house.
