Came here for a quick meal before going to The airport. The 99 is a classic New England restaurant chain known for having deep ties with the communities they operate in. Very nice waitress who expedited our order so we wouldn't be late to the airport. The French onion soup was lacking, it seems as if the piece of bread they use is too big and it absorbed all of the broth. The flavor was slightly too much wine and not enough beefy broth. Lots of onions which Is fine. The wings and skins sampler is by far the best appetizer on the menu. Nice crispy cheesy potatoes and definitely order the chicken with gold fever sauce. Probably my favorite sauce of all time. Everyone had satisfactory meals, my dad commented that his all star burger was a much bigger portion than he used to get. From past experience, avoid steaks at the 99. The seafood / chicken / ground beef / turkey are great but I've always found the steak lacking.
We had popcorn to start instead of bread which was a nice change. Guess bone-in wings are not being sent because all every restaurant had was boneless wings. I paid for Buffalo chicken sandwich. Sauce was Buffalo but not the meat. Great service.
Excellent Service. Outstanding / Great attitude.
Delicious Burgess & Drinks.
Affordable price.
It's a step above family restaurants like Applebee's or Denny's, but isn't quite as good as an Outback or Longhorn. The portions are good for the price and all of our food tasted good and was well made. The staff was friendly and accommodating.
