POSITIVE: Ok so most of the negative reviews are from snobs that would have a problem with most restaurants because it wasn't free and/or they weren't treated like a celebrity food critic. The restaurant is a bit dated and sometimes the waitresses a bit standoffish or rude. In their defense some of these "guests" come in thinking this is some roadhouse grill where they can have a party. I like a calm, more quiet dinner atmosphere and they provide this rather well. Now the food, so you can't get a bowl of butter or other such requests. Ahh then just don't come here and it will leave more room for others who will like it to dine. The food is always hot and well seasoned. Green beans, seafood delight, stuffed mushrooms, teriyaki chicken, general tuso chicken, wonton soup and the list goes on and on. They have two buffets for main courses, one for soups/appetizers, a dessert one and a small but decent salad/sauces area. It may not be a 5 star restaurant to some but their food is some of the tastiest around. I recommend it but keep an open mind when you visit.

I don't know which restaurant the Dispatch critic went to, but Asian Star Buffet in Reynoldsburg has a full bar... They do serve alcohol. We've been here many times. I agree that the service is often rude, the place is sometimes messy, but the food is excellent. I am a sucker for good service though, so they ought to invest in some customer service classes for their employees. If it's a language barrier problem, then they should address that as well. There are too many restaurants to choose from in this area for customer service to be this mediocre.
Great value. Pepper chicken is the best I have ever tasted. Our waitress was friendly and attentive. Lunch buffet reasonably priced.

Best buffet in Columbus. Huge buffet and tons of seating... but I've never seen a buffet this busy ALL the time. But the food is excellent with a wide selection.
One of my favorite buffets. My family and I go back here at least once a month. The servers are friendly, polite, and always there when you need a refill. There is a lot of variety here, from seafood to spare ribs and a long fruit and dessert bar. The sushi isn't 5-star, but it is fresh and they have several different rolls to try. The Coconut shrimp and teriyaki chicken are among my favorites here.

Good Chinese food here, pretty much variety of chicken and vegetables. I like the interior it is also very spacious in the seating area. The dessert have more options with variety of cakes. I liked the freshly cut melons. My comfort food here is fried rice with chicken and broccoli/ mushroom with zucchini. We went at dinner time the food was warm enough. During this Covid time when places are running short of staff this was well equipped with staff. Everyone was so polite and nice. Our server Yoki was very sweet. She spoke very well English and understood well. This Asian buffet is located near to my place, we are for sure gonna come to eat often. Thank you.
Pretry good, but it used to be better.
I think they changed the recipe of sesame chicken and general tsos. Sushi used to be better - very plain and no sauce like california rolls have on them. Egg rolls pretty good, fried rice is good, coconut shrimp is good, dumplings are good, mushrooms good. I would give the place 4.5 stars if that was an option. Still one of the best chinese places around though - havent found a better place on the east side yet.
Very good food! I came here as a child and I haven’t been in a long time so it was very nostalgic. I don’t get all these negative reviews because the food was great. If you’re a seafood lover like me you’ll definitely love this place because they have a wide variety of awesome seafood. The shrimp was my favorite. Good prices too, it’s $15 per person so it came to $40 without tip which is cheap (for us atleast).

Great food! Good service as well, our waitress was very nice and always asked is we needed refills. The food was good and warm, and constantly being refreshed. I would highly recommend eating here.
