If you go through my reviews you’ll see that I eat far too much Chinese food. Time and time again I am met with constant disappointment that only my parents could understand. Happy Dragon is not that place. Good portions, ready fast, and insanely delicious. The egg roll is real different, but not in the way that would’ve gotten it beat up in high school.
Only thing that confused me is that it came with a side of ice cold mashed potatoes. It was free it was actually kind of delicious, so I’m not gonna complain
It was my first time to get food in here and I will come back. Delicious food & big portions. The price is fair. The egg roll is huge. They have vegetarian options and drive thru.
After moving, the Happy Dragon became a landmark for where my roommate and I are supposed to turn on to Lancaster Ave. We decided we wanted to try this place after reading many reviews about cold mashed potatoes. At first, I was perplexed.. Mashed potatoes aren't supposed to be cold, they are supposed to be hot, full of butter and peas, kind of like my intestines. I digress. On debate night, we knew we needed to order food so we didn't have to cook and could watch it. What a better time a new place. Personally I ordered the Chicken and Broccoli, which had a very different sauce but it was good. Also the eggrolls were very large and in charge, but delicious. My roommate had sweet and sour chicken, which she said was delicious. The food was ready extremely quickly and tasted very good. Now back to the cold mashed potatoes, again, I was perplexed, but they were good so 10 out of 10, would recommend.
Ive been eating here multiple times a week for probably 13 years or so. Pretty much everything on the menu is cheap and delicious and the service is always great. Would definitely recommend. (Pro tip- you can get double rice instead of potatoes. Your welcome.)
Had this place for the first time last night. It was amazing. I only wanted to eat half, but could literally not stop myself it was that good. Customer service was wonderful, speed was excellent and overall a great experience. I think I found my new go to place for Chinese food.
