Great place to eat, if you don't mind sharing some of your food with the wildlife. Here in Texas the jack rabbit epidemic is so bad that if you’re eating outside the restaurant, kiss some of your dinner goodbye! They’re quick! From plate to mouth…the food might not make it!

So we were on our way to have brunch at Cafe Brazil. When we got there the line was out the door. I looked in the restaurant there were lots of empty tables so that made me think they were short handed. Then I looked to Yelp for another breakfast option close to 75. Trusty Yelp lead me to Taco Ocho! As I walked in I really didn't know what to expect. It was extremely clean and a friendly woman was standing behind the counter. I looked at the picture on the menu. It's the one with a sunny side up egg in the middle. I asked her what that was and she said it was an Ocho stack. I didn't even ask what was on it, I just ordered it. I didn't know how big it was so I ordered a bacon egg and cheese breakfast taco as well. Now, that I received the order I can tell you what is in it. It had three crispy corn tortillas stuffed with black beans, asadero cheese, carnitas and topped with an egg, avocado crema and served with Yucatan potatoes. It was heaven! I could eat it every day! Speaking of eating it everyday, could you please open one in Mckinney! The breakfast taco was much larger than most taco eateries! They did not skimp on the fillings. I left stuffed! Great breakfast to fuel me up for a day of watching my so play baseball!

Good breakfast tacos. Sit down vs order at the counter. Staff was amazing and friendly. Will come back again to try lunch menu.

So glad we found this place!(We stumbled upon this little restaurant after receiving no service at a place a few doors down) I added the hottest green sauce I've had in a while (!) on a breakfast taco named Polanco. (I highly recommend you dab your pinky in it to taste it before putting on your food) My friend had the Matador breakfast taco w red sauce. Both are YUMMY. Staff friendly and prompt. We will be back soon!

Stopped by this place for an early dinner before going to see the Shen Yun Production. The service was quick, and the food was made to order. I typically don't eat steak, because not everyone knows how to prepare it, but my friend ordered the Fajita Steak Nachos, and the meat just melted in your mouth, plus it was very flavorful! The drinks were good also!

It was my first time there. I got the brisket taco plate and a beef taco on the side. There was plenty of meat inside the tacos. It was good. The place looked clean and the staff greeted me when I walked in.

This place was a surprise find. With quite a few vegan options this place is definitely a great tex mex for vegans. Tacos come with rice, beans chips and salsa. The serving size is great. Kids meals options are limited. Restaurant is inviting and the staff is courteous.

This is one of my favorite restaurants. My wife and I are vegan. The menu has multiple vegan options that are all delicious. It's great to have multiple options that are specifically listed as vegan on the menu rather than having to modify a menu item and hoping they get it right. The price is a bit higher than you might expect for something such as tacos, but the fresh ingredients that are well prepared make it worth the money. One thing to note is that this review is specifically for the Richardson location. We have tried two of the other locations with less consistent results. I highly recommend Taco Ocho Richardson.

I remember coming here a few years ago when it was order-at-the-counter. It's now sit-down dining with a server. Chips and salsa were excellent, though our second basket of chips was a little greasy. Tacos were delicious. Would be nice if breakfast tacos were served all day like most taco places do, rather than cutting them off at 11:00. And if someone does come in just before 11:00, the server shouldn't have to go back to the kitchen to ask if it's still okay to order them. Server seemed confused at the idea of bringing change for $5 so that I could tip him. Probably needs a little extra training on how to handle that. Overall, good experience. Will come back.
