Was our first Ethiopian dinner and wasn't sure what to expect. We have since been to another Ethiopian restaurant and so have one other experience to compare. This was my fav of the two places.
Delicious, spicy, and filling. We ordered veggie platter for two and was not disappointed.
Quick service, friendly staff, clean restrooms. Hard to see the sign from the street, its tucked behind the Krispy Kreme.
It's one of those places that you get your money's worth. Generous portions, very tasty and the food is served in a flash! The vegetarian platter is a good place to start so that you can sample the different offerings.
I’ve been looking for a go to Ethiopian restaurant in Dallas, and I think I found my spot! This place feels like a sports bar and is not a fancy place but the staff was very friendly. We got the doro tibs (chicken tibs) and it was pretty good which comes with cabbage. The flavor of the chicken and injira bread was great. The chicken could have been a little more tender. One meal has enough for two people. Their vegetarian options looked great too. Will be back here!
Great food, friendly staff! Will definitely order again! Lamb Awaze Tibs🤌🏼
The food here is amazing. Four of us shared the taste of Ethiopia and we were stuffed. The atmosphere is cozy and relaxed - it felt like the place local Ethiopians would go for good food. The size was ok and the staff were super friendly.
Came in about half an hour before closing time and was still served a fresh platter of lovingly prepared Ethiopian food. It wasn't as spicy as I expected but I think they tailored it to my assumed Western palate. Next time I go in I will ask them to make it spicy. Serving was so generous that it was impossible to finish, even sharing it with a friend. Definitely worth checking out if you are interested in trying new things from around the world.
Such a great introduction to Ethiopian cuisine. The owner was so friendly and we felt welcomed and well cared for.
