Delicious. I can't understand the few bad reviews here and on Yelp.
My husband and I have eaten here several times, both lunch and dinner. We believe it is a wonderful little neighborhood spot - quiet and cozy. The food has always been fresh and very tasty. It is hard not to fill up on the warm bread and butter that they bring to your table to nibble on while you wait for your food. Even with the bread, we can't resist the bruschetta - warm, grilled or toasted baguette bread slices, covered with diced tomatoes, garlic and fresh chopped basil bathed in EV olive oil. Tried: Crab Cakes, Crab Cake Salad (lunch), Bruschetta, Chicken Piccata, Tilapia Hilberto, Italian Sausage, Chicken Parmesan, Lasagna, Tiramisu, Bread Pudding. All very good.
This is not an Olive Garden (thank goodness) or Macaroni Grill (which I like) - it is a small, locally owned bistro-style restaurant with a soft, refined edge. Don't let the location turn you off - if you like homemade food with fresh ingredients that is several steps above your mom's spaghetti and meatballs (which I'm sure was delish!) - give I. Gemelli a try!
GREAT place!!. Each time we have eaten at I. Gemelli (about 10+ times), it was better than before. My favorite is the linguine and clams - white sauce. The noodles are like my grandmother's. It is the only pasta dish where I enjoy the pasta as well as the meat. I've had the steak, which is really good. They pay attention when you tell them how you like it cooked. The crab cake appetizer was a true suprise and delight! We LOOOOOOVE this dish. Our son likes the food and when my husband ordered the lamb shank, he was a bit upset that he didn't get a knife. Well, he tried using a fork and the meat was so tender, it fell off the bone. They are very attentive. We've never had a bad meal there. Awesome price and AMAZING food!
Amazing Pizza!. Best Pizza I've ever had--anywhere! Great value. Great pasta too, and I love that you can get beer and wine with your meal. Definitely my new go-to pizza place!

Great Italian Food. When in Richardson visiting friends or relatives, Gemelli's is our restaurant of choice. Relaxing atmosphere, staff is friendly and superb food.
