I finally had the pleasure of dining here last night. Hands down the best meal I have had in years! The filet was perfectly cooked. and the mushroom risotto was like no other. Even with a full dining room, we never had to look for our waiter, he and the busboy were extremely attentive and polite.
A great place to go with children nice atmosphere the food is very good especially their sweet potato fries racks of ribs served with cornbread also there Harvest Salad is delicious we always get the calamari Bangin shrimp mussels in red sauce the attention to detail in there cooking is fantastic even the garnish is edible great drink list and I always end dinner with the delicious dessert

We went last night for the first time on a recommendation from coworkers. Ashley was our server and she outdid herself! The food was the best meal I've had in awhile and we will surely be back soon! The ambiance was perfect, could dress up or just dress casual, either would be fine.
Overall experience was too notch! I would note that it was a little loud and we were in the private back room, but I expect that on a Friday night. Definitely worth it!
2nd time eating at 59 almshouse and it did not disappoint, our waitress Olivia was tremendous, very attentive, courteous and helpful with our decisions, you are lucky to have her, we will be back.

I took my mom here for an early Mothers Day dinner. From the lovely lady who was at the front desk to our AMAZING server Ashley we felt like we were at home. I can't say how wonderful they both were! Our meals were delicious and Ashley's suggestions for dessert were spot on. It's our new "go to" spot for dinner. Thank you!!!
Food and the atmosphere and the waiter were great had a great meal great time and wonderful drinks
The staff is amazing. The menu is so innovative fresh and new. The atmosphere is unbelievable I love this place 
The girl when you first walk in seemed a little cocky and said "What can I do for you?" I thought that was weird. Never heard that before. Our waitress, Casey was very nice and helpful. The food was good. I got a double Jameson on the rocks and it was only $13.50 which was a nice surprise because at other places it's about $18.00.

First off yummmy!!!! Second I love this place I i wish I lived closer !!! So happy I finally stopped !! I drive past here a lot for work and was finally in the area to stop and eat ! The Caesar salad was phenomenal! The French onion soup fabulous! The Mac and cheese ooooo so goood !!!! My server was super helpful I asked what she recommended and she went over the menu with and I came in around 835 didn’t feel rushed at all! I will recommend this place to all my friends! And 59 is my lucky number !!!! So I had to go!!! This is the place to be ! I will definitely be back with my husband! JEN was amazing !!!! She went above and beyond!!!! She gave me a tour of the place she was so sweet !!! I will definitely be back !!!! Happy Holidays!!!
Went out to peddlers village and the restaurant were I er a 1.5 hr wait. Hit this place on the way back. Very surprised on the quality of the food, service quickness and hospitality.
Ordered the Thanksgiving dinner, the Blue burger, full rack of ribs and Chili w/garlic bread.
Got a hold of the blackberry cobbler cider. The established did not disappoint. I hope to make my way back again.
The food was delicious, parking was a little rough, but I got a spot in the main lot. Overall it was a good Valentine experience.
The biggest negative was that we only saw our waiter a couple times. If you didn't ask for something when food was delivered nobody was coming back. We saw the waiter when we ordered our app and drinks, then when the app came out and we placed our order, we didn't see him again until the food was brought out, finally we had finished our meal before he came back again. We were regularly without a drink, I'm not even talking about alcohol, water and soda. He was really nice and polite, I'm sure it's just too many people to 1 waiter.
I would recommend this location and will be back to try more of the menu.
I stopped in and sat at the bar for food and drinks, at first I was a little nervous about the environment being one of the youngest there haha but the staff was so nice and made me feel so comfortable! Food and drinks were delicious and will definitely stop by again :)
Great food and attentive service! I've been to 59 Almshouse many times, but recently had the pleasure of hosting a networking event in their back room. The appetizers we ordered were fantastic, well-prepared, and thoughtfully presented. The room was perfect for our event, and the servers kept everyone's glass full and drink tab separate. It was great, and I highly recommend. Photos are from our networking event!
My husband and I live locally and always enjoy eating at this restaurant. My only complaint is that it’s so incredibly busy that even when making a reservation, you will wait still to be seated. The food is always great, the staff wonderful and the atmosphere is fun! I unfortunately have to eat gluten free and although the menu doesn’t l have GF next to the menu items, there is still plenty selections to choose from. This is the only restaurant that has a gluten free dessert option. Always leave full and happy!
Food choices are not your regular hamburger and fries. I had the sweet potato burger with the option of a side salad. The side salad was a generous portion and was tasty. I just wasn't a fan of a sweet potato burger. We ate in the bar area but the patio looked nice and is popular with guests. There was plenty of parking and the service was attentive. Good beer choices on tap.
Beautiful place, good food. We sat near a door to the outside that was constantly opening and closing and made our table absolutely freezing which really sucked and the tables were a little small even for 2 people.
