Title: A Pleasant Surprise for the Taste Buds
While the decor and ambiance of this restaurant may be average, the food it offers brings a delightful surprise. With affordable prices and delicious dishes, it is truly a hidden gem. Among the various options, my personal favorite is their beef soup.
The beef soup is a delightful combination of flavorful vegetables and tender beef. The broth is clear, sweet, and incredibly tasty. It's a comforting bowl of goodness that warms both the stomach and the soul.
Another must-try is their Mexican burrito, available with either chicken or fish. The combination of the juicy meat, tangy lemon, and spicy chili sauce creates a burst of flavors in every bite. To complement the meal, I highly recommend trying their grape-flavored soda, which adds a refreshing touch.
In conclusion, this restaurant offers a great dining experience with its affordable prices and delicious food. While the decor might not be exceptional, the flavors of their dishes speak for themselves. Don't miss the opportunity to try their beef soup and the mouthwatering Mexican burrito. This place truly embodies the concept of offering quality at an affordable price.
Everything on the menu is 🔥
Nice place to get off the beaten path. The food, service, and atmosphere are all amazing. I like everything I have tried. The fried fish and shrimp plate served with French fries, and onion rings is my go-to. Also, the chicken stuffed jalapeños!
The food is amazing! The prices are great! It's authentic food. I'm definitely coming back! The customer service was good too.
Must say that for being my second time eating pupusas I am amazed at the taste this one provide. Pupusas were freshly made as they were hot and cheese was fully melted. Had 6 and let me tell you I was super full after eating those 6, I notice the tilapia my son had was cooked to perfection and the white rice was soft and tasty. They have tons of authentic Salvadoran food, if you are in the are you must try this place. I bet you won't be disappointed.
Was craving some pupusas and stopped by for a quick bite. It took a bit but very reasonable price. Everything was $6 and filling.
Pupusas 5/5
Cheese melt so well. Pupusas was hot and tasty.
Tamale 5/5
So soft and tasty. Filling was good.
This place is amazing. My husband and I love coming here. We know we can get amazing food for an affordable price. The pupusas and tamales are my favorite. The service is always top notch and quick too. Recommend 100%.
The food is authentic and delicious. I even ordered pupusas to go! I had the yuca frita as an appetizer and the number 7 for dinner. The number 7 had sweet bananas, pupusa and tamale.
Ordered online for pickup on a Sunday evening. Order came out quickly and was hot and fresh. For the brief time I was in the restaurant, I liked the cozy ”mom and pop" atmosphere. Ideal for smaller groups; would be difficult to have a group larger than six since there are mostly booths.
I ordered a variety of pupusas and these are best I've ever had. You can tell the masa is fresh and they had a perfect balance of cheese and fillings. Great value for the money. I can't wait to go back and dine in next time.
Food here was amazing first time here and I recommend. Don’t listen to Bryan Hernandez or David Navas review, come see yourself those guys are just hating , food tasted amazing
Doesn't look much when you're passing by but once you get your food it's a whole different story. The place is clean because so many Salvadorian restaurants are not. We got the carne asada plate, the nuegados and the platillo típico AND it was beyond expectations! The yummy, hot tamal de elote took me back to my childhood! The carne asada was soft and tender. The pupusas fresh and homemade. I can't complain about any of the food. The service was also great as well and our waiter was attentive and patient. This is my new Salvi spot! 🥰❤️
Delicious food. Hole in the wall vibes. The food was so fresh our pupusas came out so hot and delicious highly recommend we tried them all👌
My son tried the hamburger and fries meal it was also delicious.
This place is a must try!
I'll definitely be coming back and the staff was super friendly.
The staff is so nice and will translate the items if you're not sure what you want. I ordered one tamale & three different papusas. They were larger than I expected, so I went home with leftovers. They taste amazing and are so inexpensive! I'll be back soon!
Fast friendly service delicious crisp quality variety and value. The taste alone will bring me back, and the big disposable cup of coffee. The fish platter I had was great with okra, red beans and rice, has chicken strip, stuffed jalapeño, crab ball, and plenty of sauces, plus I asked for lime and everything was yum.
So, I work at Lupe Tortilla as a server and wanted to show the cooks my appreciation for all their hard work, and decided to get them pupusas, instead of the usual, tamales, pan dulce, cookies, etc. I looked up places near me and seen the ratings were great for this spot. And they did not lie!!! We really enjoyed them. So soft, filled with flavor and a great portion of everything. Thank you. I found a new favorite spot!!!
Pupusas are a nice size but for some reason the Revueltas (mixed) lack in flavor, the loroco were a bit salty. The corn tamales were delicious and aguas fresca are freshly made
I haven't been to El Salvador in a few years now but when I go, I make it a point to visit Olocuilta for their rice pupusas because they are the best. I ordered them and were surprised and delighted that they were so good here. I've ordered them before from a restaurant in Katy and was very disappointed. I also had the yuca chicharron. Very good with lemon and salt. Everything was delicious and I will definitely be ordering again.
Great customer service! The food is always fresh.
Amazing, always hot and fresh.....and they just added seafood to the menu
Great food! And friendly service. The carne asada and popusas are delicious. Try the fruit water - it’s a mix of natural fruits and is so refreshing.
