I came here because of its rating on other platforms. While the drinks were not fantastic- very limited cocktails/no juice. What we did get was okay - would have been better without ice? - the rest is wonderful! We had the special salad and lamb lollipops. Amazing!!! The zucchini was okay but the Taziki was delicious and flavorful. We had the “greek pop tart” which was full of cheese with lemon, honey and sesame seeds - so unique! The shrimp santoroni was DIVINE! BUT THE DESSERT- 🤯🤤- chocolate hazelnut baklava with the most amazing salted caramel gelato. I’ll be back just for that!!! Excellent service. Cool vibe.
Everything about this restaurant was excellent. The food, the service, the atmosphere, absolutely everything was fantastic. Our waiter, Jon, was so respectful and kind. He took time to explain some of the dishes to my wife and I and went above and beyond to ensure we had an exceptional dining experience. Do yourself a service and come dine at Stella's!!

We brought my parents here for lunch while they were visiting us in Richmond. It was excellent! The flavors were amazing. I recommend a reservation pretty well in advance because it’s very popular. It’s also in a great area to take a walk after your meal. Every staff member was pleasant and accommodating, and even though the restaurant was full for the lunch rush it wasn’t excessively loud. Their sound absorption materials must be pretty good. It was not like a brewery, for example, where it becomes extremely loud when the area is full. My mom asked about an after dinner liquor she had in Crete & Santorini - they did have it and it’s sort of like a white wine, however she said it really was really not like the one she had on trips to Greece. So that is 1 minor thing that could be improved and that’s about it! I would definitely come back, recommend to others, and bring my parents back for dinner. When my parents visit it is important to me that they have great food & service when we go out to eat, and Stella’s was fantastic.
The food is delicious, the atmosphere is amazing, and it feels like being in a different city. The octopus is probably the best I ever have. I had a salad with the special soup Lobster Bisque ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️.

The service is very good as well as the service. Big portions, hard to eat all the food. Their feta cheese is very good, their wine was delicious. I strongly recommend this restaurant.
A very lovely little Greek restaurant. The al fresco dining is quite pleasant. The service was very attentive and nice, food was good and plenty. Would definitely recommend!
First time going for lunch today with my mom for my birthday. I will say we did not make reservations, and we were lucky to grab a table as it’s a small but elegant restaurant that fills up quickly. Everything was wonderful. The food was spectacular. I loved the whole snapper I got, and my mom enjoyed her shrimp dish. We will definitely be back.

What a gem this place is, uncovered by a local friend! The food is absolutely delicious, authentic, perfectly done Greek fare, great atmosphere, good drinks, and fantastic service. The server, John was attentive, funny, present but not overbearing. Though we stuck to meze and salad, we ordered way too much food and ended up with a take-way bag at the end. Also, right across the street they have a wine bar and a small supermarket selling all sorts of yummy specialties. The beauty of it is that you can consume everything at the outdoor tables they have in front of the place...loved it, will most likely come back.
Update: have been back four more times since May. It just gets better!

Atmosphere and service just add so much love to this place, it's a really amazing experience all around.
Kona served me sitting solo at the large communal table in the middle of the restaurant and he was brilliant. The Halibut special was to die for. Portions are generous and everything is prepared to perfection.
I also went to their grocery store across the street and bought a bunch of other goodies to go!

First time here and can't wait to come back. Food was fantastic. Gabe was our server and was very knowledgeable with the menu. Went to the grocery afterwards as well.
Food is overall very good and the ambiance is intimate but nice, albeit bit cramped and can get fairly loud.
Our server was prompt and attentive. The octopus appetizer was good but bit too salty. The main entrees were pretty spot on for what we ordered. I am not particularly a fan of Greek cuisine but if you were looking a good Greek restaurant, I would not hesitate to recommend this place.
Not sure if there is parking in the back, but since the restaurant is in a residential area, you'd better be prepared to parallel park. They are open for lunch and dinner Monday through Friday and dinner only on Saturday, and closed on Sunday.
Such an excellent evening! The food and drink was heavenly and such lively service! We could not have asked for a better experience. The atmosphere was warm, inviting, and authentic. You will not be disappointed!!
Stella's is fantastic! The food is always so good. Service is excellent. Try one of their inhouse made drinks. I ordered the daily special which was halibut. Tatziki sauce on the bottom with grilled brussel sprouts, cauliflower, fingerling potatoes and asparagus. Wow! The halibut was cooked perfectly. The sauce on top was delicious. The vegetables underneath were amazing. The flavor profile of the complete dish was just out of this world.
Of course you have to have some dessert. We went across the street to the store and got kadafi and baklava. Perfect addition we enjoyed at home. So stuffed lol but a good stuffed.
By far the best dining experience I've had in Richmond. I don't think I can say anything new than what other reviewers already said. Food, service, ambience are great. What I will say, though, is that you can just tell when people care. The owners clearly care about their employees, and the employees clearly care about the customers. You'll feel it when you're there.
Got a ton of specials and options for everyone including vegetarians! While you can find a seat the bar, I would recommend a reservation. We ordered pasta # 5 - I would say it was hands down best red pasta sauce in town - so fresh! Don’t get fooled by the pic - it is the biggest pasta portion I have ordered. It can feed a village. Appetizers were great especially feta forno ( red pepper, feta, garlic ) - a ton of flavor. Most the plates fresh out of oven - can’t ask for on a date dinner. Desert - chocolate pistachio baklava with salted caramel gelato was the best!
Hands down the best Greek food I've ever had and this is an easy top-rated meal in RVA. I will keep visiting every time im back in the area.
I’ve been wanting to go to Stella for months but keep forgetting to make reservation. I hear it can take several months to get a reservation. We decided to go right at five to see if we could get a table we were offered three options of the bar the common table or a table that had to be vacated by a certain time. We shared we chose the common table. We really enjoyed our dishes the lamb lolly pops were incredible And we are course enjoyed the Greek potatoes they are one of my favorite.
This little Greek gem is worth the reservation. The staff was very friendly and attentive. The bread and oil was a great starter. The lamb meatballs were moist and tasty. My pan seared salmon was perfectly cooked and delicious. The drinks were strong and doubles were not twice the price.
